Honestly, this place is more of a hostel than a B&B. And, I've stayed in nicer hostels.... I always seek out B&Bs because of the charming aspect, but this place was a far cry from charming. I'll just break it down with pros and cons so you can make your own decision. Pros: -hosts were friendly (especially the husband, he...

Actually I didn't plan to come to Botanic View B&B. Two friends were staying there and I was just accompanying them because I had severe troubles with my flight booking and needed some place with wifi and phone to handle them. I am very thankful for the warm welcome and help I've been offered. She really supported me in any...

Botanic B&B is a nice, familiar place where to stay. It is situated in a quiet area of Dublin, close to the city centre. Bernie and Co., are welcoming, friendly people. An excellent full Irish breakfast is available. My room was quite spacious, clean and warm. Free Wi-Fi is present in the rooms. Thank you, Berny for your hospitality!

We stayed over New Year and had a fantastic time. Bernie and PJ were very nice and helpful. On arrival we were offered tea or coffee and also got some advice on where to go and how to get there. Bernie recommended several pubs in the area which offer very good food and we definitely weren't disappointed. The breakfast was...

Bernadette and her husband Patrick-Joseph (P-J) are very nice and friendly people, who want to make you feel at home, Bernadette took us to town in her car and dropped us in the centre, what a luxury!, breakfast in the morning is very cosy with P-J who served us some eggs etc. he is a nice and very friendly man!...

It*s a nice B&B about 20 - 30 minutes walking distance from the center of Dublin. There's also a bus stop nearby. The airlink bus station, which departs from the airport every 15 minutes, is only about 800 m away from Botanic View. The hosts are absolutely friendly and nice, I can really recommend to stay here.

I made a return solo trip to Dublin in early November, 2016, some 50 years since my first visit in 1966 as a seventeen year old and 12 years since I last traveled to Ireland. While I had previously found lodging in the Clontarf and Ballsbridge neighborhoods, I this time chose Botanic View B&B for its north side proximity to...

We stayed for a week and it was a wonderful stay. Bernie and PJ were delightful, friendly and very accommodating. The room was spotless and the location was only a short bus ride from the city centre. We will definitely recommend to anyone staying in Dublin!

I really enjoyed staying with you guys. Bernie and PJ are fantastic hosts with always a joke to tell and useful advice as to where to go and what to do. The B&B is a little away from the city centre, but still in walking distance (ca30min), which was great for us as we never depended on taking cabs while...
