To be fair the location of this hotel has pros and a cons; The pros are that it's in the city center close to everything making it a great location. The cons are that it's in the city center therefore it's noisy. The windows must be original because we could hear everything. The traffic and buses all night long, the...

Good choice for centrality, very close to St Stephen's Green, Art Gallery, Museum etc and for that reason alone I would stay here again. The second floor room was comfy with all the usual requirements except access by lift so be aware if you're of a certain age and your luggage is weighty.

The advertising pictures didn't match reality. The location is good but the hotel is in need of a deep renovation. I felt like been in an old London bedsitter 40 years ago. Having said that, I found the staff very helpful, specialy the receptionists.

All I can say is that as far as the hotel is concerned ...I got this wrong ..yet right location. Other than a hearty good quality breakfast, unfortunately eaten perched on a bar stool this hotel is pretty poor all round and be warned ....arthritis, 3rd floor and no lift is not a mix that makes for a benevolent review....

Great option for our first visit to Dublin. We loved the location - easy walk to many pubs and restaurants, and a bus stop right across the street. Nice breakfast for a reasonable price (10 E). Cozy pub. The staff was very helpful, especially helping us get sightseeing tickets printed. Gave us a "family room" with a double bed and...

I found myself in the Kildare Street Hotel for a couple of nights last week, on business - booked by my boss. It wasn't a bad stay by any means (especially since I was booked into one of the 3rd floor rooms with... fanfare... ITS OWN BATHROOM..!!), but while some aspects of the hotel had cleared been recently smartened up...

Firstly, if you're interested in going to Dublin. Do it, get it booked right away, it's quite simply an amazing city. The Kildare Street hotel was a great base for our short weekend trip. I stayed in a comfy twin room whilst my friends stayed in a 2 story room that sleeps 6. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms...

Stayed here one night in Dublin. Family of 4 fit just fine in the family room for a night. Easy access to Saint Patricks Cathedral, Trinity College and Grafton Street. No elevators make a walk up the stairs a little tricky with luggage but all attendants were eager to help us carry our bags if we needed help.
