I was asked to find somewhere very Special - 'Unique' and very 'Irish' for some American Face Book Friends visiting Co. Galway on 18th October 2015! Somewhere capable of meeting everyone of their 'particular' needs and requirements! The perfect place was indeed - Annaghkeen Self-Catering Cottages! Where I knew they would receive the very best of welcomes, a great place...

My husband visited Annaghkeen Cottages a week ago and wished we could have stayed longer. Set in friendly Galway around 3 miles from the nearest town Headford the cottages are situated in beautiful countryside. The owner Dave greeted us with a warm welcome and great hospitality. We stay one week in August and we really love the place and the owners, friendly and kind. The cottage is in a very quiet zone but near Connemara, the beatiful Cong and other place. We have a great time in Annaghkeen!

We have been coming to Annaghkeen for the last 10 years and we just love the beautiful and cosy cottages! They are close to lake Corrib, but also in a good driving distance to Headford and Galway. The owners Dave and Theresa are lovely people, doing their best to make the guests feel at home. There's absolutely nothing negative we...

The cottages are very rural and peaceful but close enough to the city that you really have the...

We were welcomed and looked after by the lovely hosts, Dave and Theresa who made us all feel totally at home and nothing was too much trouble. Due to the great location on the edge of Lough Corrib, it made for an excellent...

I stayed in Annaghkeen in September of 2009 with my aunts and sister. The cottages were lovely- well furnished with a kitchenette, comfy beds, and a nice dining room and living area. Located about 30 min. by car from Galway, the cottages offered us a great chance to stay in a peaceful, country setting while still being close enough to...

My nieces, sister and I all stayed at Annaghkeen Cottages in County Galway last August. We were so pleased with our accommodations - the cottages are really lovely, and we had absolutely everything we could need. The cottages are all so nicely decorated, and the owners have really been thoughtful about supplies and whatnot. The cottages are outside the city...
