We really enjoyed Woodhaven B&B. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Bridie, the hostess, was very polite and accommodating and they accepted us as an early arrival. If you are in Galway area and looking for B&B, look no further.

I am always greeted with the utmost welcome. After along journey I am assured of a lovely pot of tea and sandwich from Bridie. I am treated like one of the family by Bridie and Joe. They are such nice, respectable and decent people. They are so attentive to all their guests. The grilled breakfast is so tasty, it is...

I had a very pleasant stay at this property, Bridie could not have been nicer. Since I was on my own, she did her best to accomdate me. I am currently doing a course in Galway. What impressed me mostly was the fact that nothing was too much for this lovely lady to do. She gave me a lift to...

Well... Yes, the host is quite nice, and yes the breakfast is absolutely fine! The room is clean and definitely big enough! But that's it... What are the most important things in a B&B? (At least for young people) Comfy bed, nice and relaxing shower and Wireless to stay in touch / check TripAdvisor :P The so-called bed urgently needs...

My wife and I stayed at Woodhaven for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. We received a warm welcome from Irene on arrival and were given complimentary tea and cake. Irene chatted with us for some time and made us feel at home. We also received a great welcome from her husband John. Our bedroom was very...

Hi ... I had reason to stay in Galway recently due to a family member being admitted to Merlin Park Hospital at short notice. I was in such a panic trying to get B&B accommodation near the hospital and checked out Trip Advisor. I noted the 'all but one' really positive comments for Woodhaven Lodge so I booked in there....

I was going to let this slide and not review until I looked on the website and saw that the second thing listed on their website under facilities is "credit cards accepted". Now I'm really furious. I stayed here one night on a short trip to Galway after my original booking place had an emergency and had to close for...

Easy access to downtown Galway via the bus (2 euros, 15 minute ride). Bridie is warm, helpful and polite. Stayed two nights and could have stayed more. Wifi access to the bedroom was iffy if that matters to you. Highly recommend this stay.
