I loved our stay at the Ardilaun. It's situated within walking distance of Galway's city center, yet it's just far enough away that you feel so much peace there. The grounds are lovely, and we enjoyed all the flowers (plus the spacious parking lot). Traveling with 3 small children, ages 1, 5, and 7, is stressful, but the staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful. The family-sized room was a great space for us, and they were able to add an infant cot as well. We all loved the pool and enjoyed the pub as well. Highly recommended for families.

Brilliant hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Josie in the breakfast was wonderful- she couldn't do enough to accommodate us. Breakfast was delicious. The reception staff were very helpful also.

Went for one night trip for family occasion. Although not in city centre salthill easy walk and bottom shop st only 20 min walk. Beds lovely with addtional bonus of nespresso machine . Lovely old fashioned welcome

A return visit after many years, this old style Hotel has a lot of charm and character and is surrounded by mature gardens. It was a pleasure to stay here again, bedroom spacious and comfortable, good breakfast, friendly staff, and a great base for exploring the City which is within walking distance. Plenty of free parking and EV charging available in underground Car Park. Blazers Bar is a nice place to enjoy a drink and watch sport on a widescreen TV.

Great hotel, good value for the room etc. Food was fab and we had our 21 month old with us and staff and facilities where very good. Pool was great, baby pool slightly heated and good gor a toddler. Changing facilities very clean. We would stay again.

The meal particularly the fish choice leaves much to be desired. I would not recommend it as a choice. On the positive side the staff were great,the room clean and comfortable with obliging,pleasant room service staff.

The Ardilaun must have the friendliest and most helpful staff I ever encountered. It was a joy to spend 3 days there, it felt almost like being a guest in someone's house. The location is great and the room was wonderfully quiet! We shall return.

I would like to start by thanking Aoife and Eva for making my trip comfortable, easy and enjoyable. They helped my mother with luggage issues, providing toiletries and being overall the nicest people you will meet in Galway. They made both of us feel welcome and at ease by answering every question and request, and going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. I cannot thank these 2 individuals enough and recommend you visit them at this hotel, as it will be the best experience you can have in galway. Side note : amazing gardens, fantastic pool and hot tub, and overall beautiful accomdation. Breakfast was a feast fit for a king (includes everything you need for a full irish breakfast and more!)
