Had a drink in the bar many a times, friendly staff, picturesque grounds, short walk into town. strong wifi. couldn't recommend enough, the Jewell of galway. Bar food is always good here and they have all the sports channels

Stayed as part of a tour group. Not sure how this hotel is rated as well as it is. Not anywhere near a 4 star hotel. Carpets are worn in hallways and in room. Room is dingy, worn and dirty. Phone has food caked on it. Bathroom door is broken and door knob doesn't work. Strange unlockable door which appears...

Lovely two night stay as part of short driving tour. Very comfortable and elegant room. Food good, especially breakfast. Staff polite and helpful. Would recommend. Beware though that Satnav took us the wrong way!

Stayed last weekend with the girls and had a great time from we checked in until we checked out. Had dinner in both the dining room and the bar and both were thoroughly enjoyed by all. Lovely tasty breakfast even when dining room was busy. Pool and jacuzzi great after a day in the city!! Great location - short walk...

stayed here midweek for two nights , the hotel is charming old world but could do with a bit of an upgrade. On first evening lift out of action so had to use stairs , this was not a big problem but for older people could , if we're staying on third or fourth floor .
