I have stayed in Adare Guest House for several years and it's rare to find such warm, friendly owners along with such a great location and nice accommodation! The food is always fantastic and often from their very own vegetable garden. They always make sure to have the most up-to-date suggestions on the great shows and restaurants the vibrant city...

My friends and I have frequently stayed in the adare guest house. Being decent folk and loyal customers we were prepared to overlook broken shower doors, not particularly clean rooms and the cat-like singing/screeching from the craic of dawn of the owner as she cooked breakfast. However, this year despite booking a triple room 4 months in advance of the...

Only a short walk through the park and over the bridge to the Spanish Arch & Quay street. 15 minute walk to Salt Hill, if that. Location is absolutely perfect! Grainne, the hostess, was very accommodating. Due to a delayed flight I arrived late on the Friday night and she kindly made it as easy for me as possible to...

I booked 2 rooms for 4 of us for May. I can say all were happy with this guesthouse. I stayed in room 9, with 2 beds, picture is on the website, and it was as advertised. It was spacious for 2 people, with a clean and modern bathroom. There were plenty of electrical outlets in the room, which was...

on a recent overseas trip from Australia my wife and l stayed here for 2 nights, one which happened to be the census night and good to see there questions are as silly as Australia. Room and bed were very comfortable although the free wifi didn't work around the corner to our bedroom but this wasn't a major problem. Breakfast...

Great location convenient to the Claddagh, city center, and Salthill. We took the Salthill bus from Eyre Square and got dropped off right in front of the park that this guesthouse overlooks. Comfy beds, good showers. Stayed in two different rooms over 11 days, sometimes alone and sometimes sharing. One night the pipes or the heater made a weird buzzing...

We loved our 4 night stay at Adare Guesthouse. Perfectly situated, just a short walk from the centre of town, next to a greenspace, in a safe neighbourhood. A manageable walk to Salthill as well. Personal service and hospitality, a quaint but spacious room with modern ensuite. We absolutely loved the breakfasts that Grainne so cheerfully and expertly prepared to...

My husband and I recently traveled to Ireland and while we stayed mostly at hotels, we agreed that after our stay at Adare in Galway, we prefer guesthouses! This place was so great and the owners were so sweet and welcoming. They completely took care of us and the location is walking distance to all the best restaurants and Galway...

What ever you do- do NOT miss breakfast! Wonderful home made breakfast, made to order from a wide selection. All lovely made to the song of our host. Wonderful organic garden in the back where in the summer much of the produce is harvested. Short walk over the bridge to the heart of Galway's shopping district and great local pubs....
