Had a lovely one night stay in a seaview room. Very nice hotel in a central location - walking distance to Galway city. Friendly, welcoming staff. Only observation is because the entrance to the hotel is at the back of the building you have to walk along the side of the hotel along a carpark and it it quite dark and the ground a little uneven - a few extra lights along the wall would help. Would definitely return.
We went to the Galway Bay hotel in Salthill for afternoon tea Thank you to chef Ciara & to Jacob for great friendly service and lovely sandwiches and mix of pastries food for our mothers day treat. Thank you
I attended a wedding here a couple of days ago, and I had a fantastic experience. Beautiful view of the ocean, excellent for taking pictures The staff were all very accommodating and friendly, and the food was superb. Would definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful experience over drinks and dinner with our tour group. Great place to stay, delicious food, and amazing and attentive service from the awesome guys and gal's at team Galway Bay. Next time we visit, we would love a bit of pork crackling on the roast 😉
Excellent meals and service!! Manager Marcus Mcginley made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. I was very glad we chose to stay there. The best hotel service on our tour!!!
We celebrated my mum's 80th birthday in the Galway Bay Hotel where 36 of us stayed for 1 night and a few of us stayed for 2. From start to finish the service was excellent. Catherine was fantastic organising the rooms and dinner for us when we were booking. Louise was super on the night ensuring we had a suitable area in the hotel for our speech's, sing songs etc. All the staff from reception to the bar were great, very accommodating and friendly, there was nothing that we couldn't ask for. I would highly recommend the Galway for a family event.
This hotel has the friendliest and most helpful staff - we really felt that they couldn't do more for us. Such a comfortable hotel with great facilities in a fabulous location. Try the beauty room - Michelle is amazing!
Just home after five wonderful days in the Galway Bay hotel at the Bowling break. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the hotel is spotless and comfortable. The food is first class served in a beautiful dining room with superb views across the bay. Am already booked for November.
A brilliant hotel with friendly and polite staff, great breakfast each morning and a top class evening meal, the hotel is in a great location with plenty to do nearby and looking forward to our next stay again
Top class hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. The Harvest cafe is the place to go for lunch where manager Mary will treat you like a lifelong friend. Smiling and courteous all the time while serving the excellent cuisine. From a light lunch to a full dinner menu available you will be spoilt for choice. Overnight visitors will be served sumptuous breakfast every morning and if staying for dinner can be guaranteed a la carte food fit for a king or queen. This hotel has brilliant staff to many to mention by name, they cannot do enough for you. Had an interesting and informative chat with friends and with Marcus who was making sure everything was to our satisfaction, for which we assured him it was. We cannot wait to return in November for another bowling break organised by organiser Carmel Mc Kim. I can highly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed with your stay in the hotel looking out over Galway bay in Salthill.…
