We stayed in The Light House B & B while in Galway for our Grandson's christening. Arriving a little earlier than planned (1 hour) we were greeted by a sign on the door stipulating check in time at 4pm. We rang the bell and the proprietor let us check in early but quickly stated that "there would be no hot...

Stayed one night here in December. The location is excellent and is only 5-10 minute walk from Eyre Square. It also has a good price per night considering it has such a central location. The rooms are very private which is good, we don't normally use B&Bs. The room was clean and spacious. We were however locked out after our...

We booked two rooms online. One was a double and the second was for four person (we were in three in this room). The location was amazing, because we were in front of a delicious bay. Both the rooms were at the third floor. There isn't a lift, but it's ok. Our room had big windows, and the view was...

A B&B that doesn't serve breakfast, and at €90 per room is expensive. Granted the views from the room are beautiful overlooking Lough Atalia, but I suggest that the owner of the accommodation take note of the reviews on this site and drop one of the B's from B&B. The sign outside of the house does state 'room only', but...

We booked one night in advance as a lot of rooms seemed to be taken for this particular weekend in Galway. We arrived and found the parking really narrow. The lady that welcomed us was impatient. The location of the house is good if you want to be in the city center within 5 minutes. However the house is located...

Poor showing, advertised as B&B even a picture of a breakfast on trip advisor but need to read the small print. No breakfast at this B&B. On arrival told cash only and in exchange for key. Bit strange. 160 euro for double room one night, I expected more.

We originally booked two rooms here but when we arrived, both rooms were on the third floor and that was after we hiked up to the front door. The hostess was pleasant but the rooms were small and there were 6 of us. they did give us the names of other B&B's close by, we ended renting a house from...
