2 friends and I booked Amber Lodge for A New Years Eve stay. Due to an emergency we attempted to cancel our booking. We tried 13 times to ring the B&B 4 days before we were due to stay but to no avail. We realized the next day that we were now outside of the "free cancellation" period. We continued...

Had a recent visit to this B&B on New Year's Eve. We booked a double and a triple room. Rooms were clean and satisfactory. Found the price very expensive considering we couldn't check in till near 4pm as receptionist couldn't find our booking, and we were expected to leave by 10.30am. Owner was knocking on our door at 10.30am asking...

I booked a room for 4 nights and found the room very clean and as the picture shows, it was a bit tight for 2 people but I am a single traveler so it was fine for me. The water in the shower was hot, I had plenty of clean towels every day, the staff were very personable and helpful....

Good accommodation for a short stay of one night, great the possibility to park in the front of the entrance, excellent location only 10 minutes walking distance from the city center; recommended if you have in plan a touch-and-go stay.

We booked a triple room for 3 pensioners and were given a room with double and a single bed. Completely unsuitable for 3 female senior citizens. The room had little space, no wardrobe, drawers and the bathroom was minute. Our room was being changed during our stay to accommodate their bookings. As room was unsuitable we had to look elsewhere...

I have stayed in many types of accommodation from 5 star to back packers all over the world and this place is by far the most ' minimalist' I have ever experienced. To be fair, it is just a B & B but even in this context it was minimal. Our double 'ensuite' room had no room for bags, no...

Nice comfortable room, no one there to greet us, just an intercom which was a bit disappointing as we like to chat with the hosts and get tips on where best to eat etc. Breakfast was nice but served on a tiny plate! As Galway has lots of places to stay it's unlikely we would stay here again
