I am from the US and my boyfriend is from Germany --we stayed at the Ross House in August, 2013 for two nights and loved it. The owner was so sweet and made us feel so welcomed. The B&B seemed to be about a ten minute walk from the beach and from the downtown area --both walks were scenic. Our...

This b&b has Small rooms, tiny bathroom, average breakfast.. Nothing special about this place, but it was clean. Staff friendly. Location is good if you like to walk to center. About 10-15 min walk depending how fast you walk.

When we arrived, we were, I admit, a bit disappointed by the curb appeal, but that disappointment quickly dissipated when we were greeted by the lovely, warm and welcoming hosts, Gerry and Sarah. The rooms are immaculate and, while not fancy, they are comfortable and crisp and clean. Travellers expecting Ritz-style accommodation on a Motel 6 budget all seem to...

Our stay at Ross House was at the end of a two week tour of Ireland which we thoroughly enjoyed! Our stay at Ross House was the perfect end to the holiday. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. The French Toast at breakfast was excellent!

There were two issues we had with this B&B. It was too far from downtown Galway. We needed a place within easy walking distance and this did not fit the bill. Second, while the rooms are very nice, the bathrooms were the smallest we encountered on our trip. We had no problem, but the sink hangs over the toilet. Not...

Although it was one of the more expensive rooms of our 4 weeks trip through Ireland this place is really poor ! The rooms a very small and although we stayed here for 4 nights we had a bathroom in which we hardly could turn. The room and bathroom were not very clean and some things like the light and...

Nice location if you are driving or like to walk along the seaside. Sara and Gerry were gracious and very helpful throughout my longer stay. Breakfasts were excellent! and varied. Room was clean and fairly quiet. I highly recommend this B&B. The only drawback is that the common/breakfast room is locked in the morning, so we early risers have to...

We found the Ross House from a recommendation from the tourist information center. After driving from the rental car lot in Galway ( our first Irish driving experience) we were so happy to settle in to the Ross House. Sara was so amazing. She took care of us as if we were her children! She gave us great ideas of...

The room was small but neat and clean. Sara was very kind and the breakfast was cook to order and excellent. Location is great - a 10 minute walk to the city center. A very nice stop.

Walking into Sarah's b&b was like coming home. This is an incredibly warm and gracious environment with an excellent breakfast run by a totally accommodating woman who will absolutely help you out to the best of her ability. Ross House is clean, organized, calming and I can;t recommend it enough. If I am ever lucky enough to go back to...
