The Petra House was a great experience. Paul and Amy were very nice and welcoming. Amy met us when we arrived and got us settled. She recommended locations for us to get something to eat and laundry since we arrived after 7pm. The room was comfortable and great for the four of us. The room was clean and the mattress was amazing. Amy gave us a list for what we wanted for breakfast. They made everything fresh and it was delicious. We will definitely stay here again on the next visit.

Paul and Amy were awesome hosts! Breakfasts were excellent and room was cozy. Convenient location—10 min walk from Eyre Square/local pubs and Ceannt station. Definitely recommend for your stay in Galway!

My wife and I stayed at Petra House as part of a wedding anniversary trip to Ireland. Its location is perfect for exploring Galway. Paul and Amy were very welcoming. We had a beautiful room! The breakfast was outstanding! We highly recommend Petra House as a base for visiting Galway.

We enjoyed our stay at Petra House. The accommodations and breakfast were very good and the service was excellent. Paul arranged to have our laundry cleaned, called taxis and provided restaurant recommendations.

Paul & Amy were great hosts! Charming room. Nice quite location that is within a 10 minute walk of Erye Square and the heart of Galway's shopping and pubs! Breakfast was superb. The room was clean, comfortable and well attended.

Look no further for the perfect B&B. I stayed two nights during a roadtrip with my daugther, and we absolutely loved it. Everything is just perfect! The room, the beds, the breakfast, and the location just a 10-15 min walk from the city center. And Amy and Paul are just the best hosts imaginable. I surely will return if I ever find myself in Galway again.

Paul and Amy have a great place within an easy 5 minute walk to the action of Eyre Square, Shop St and the Latin Quarter. (Also only a 5 minute walk to the bus station direct to the Dublin airport). Having never been to Galway before, I wasn't sure where the best location would be to stay. Very happy with Petra House. Close to the action, but far enough away from the noise in the evening. Our accommodations were great, rooms had been recently updated and Paul and Amy provided everything we needed, including a delicious breakfast. Paul also let me use his phone when I needed to contact our credit card company and was having trouble using our phone. Would highly recommend and would be happy to stay here again.

Great location. 10 minute walk to Eyre Square and the Latin Quarter. Very clean and great breakfast each morning. Paul and Amy are great hosts. They are super friendly and accommodating. Talking to Paul, you feel like you are spending time with a good friend. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Galway.
