We stayed with a group of friends at this property over the weekend. The location is fantastic. It is about 6 minutes walk from Eyre Square. The rooms are spotlessly clean, lovely décor and spacious. Rooms are en suite and en suites were also spotless. Beds are very comfortable all of us had a wonderful nights sleep. The area is quiet and peaceful. Our breakfast was included in the rate and was served buffet style in the communal dinning room. Breakfast had a great range of options, cereal, hot breakfast, fruit yogurts. Tea and coffee was available all day. The reception area is easily accessible and very welcoming, with lots of information on local sights and tours. What really made our stay so fantastic were the owners of the accommodation, they could not have been more welcoming, helpful and friendly, they really couldn't do enough for us. My daughter and her friends were also on the trip in another property in the area and they were let down with the accommodation and their breakfasts on the 2 mornings, we were chatting with Donal about it and he very kindly offered my daughter and her friends to come to the b&b for breakfast there. This is over and above what anyone would expect and it really shows what wonderful hosts the owners are. I will definitely be back, amazing value for money

Perfect for a stay in Galway. Staff were very friendly, and the place was exceptionally clean. Bed was comfy, location was walking distance to the city centre. It is part of 3 B&Bs that are ran together, we were staying in St.Gerard’s which was very modern, they are all on the same road. Would highly recommend 🥰

How lucky were we to booked the number one (for many reasons!) guesthouse in Galway? Upon taking a shuttle from Shannon Airport to Galway, we were greeted in the lobby by Donal, who shared that he runs the B&B with his twin brother Sean. He was absolutely lovely and quickly gave us all the necessary information. Our room was quaint and comfortable (and purple!) -- The windows looked out on the main street, but fear not, they were thick and quiet and we didn't hear a peep from outside. The shower was hot with great pressure and there was a hairdryer in the room. Our favourite feeling was how great it was to be at a B&B, eating breakfast with other guests, and still only a 5-7 minute walk from the centre of Galway. Breakfast had so many options for all kinds of eaters (I'm a vegetarian) and this included a well stocked fridge with water, orange juice, yoghurt, etc... The brown beans and eggs were delicious, as were the fresh blueberries. We saw Sean the next morning at breakfast and it's a good thing the brothers wear different coloured tops because they are certainly identical! There were also numerous pamphlets in the lobby, with suggestions of things to do and tours to book. Donal also suggested that if we hadn't booked anything and we wanted to, he could do that for us :) Truly, the best introduction to Ireland was finding St. Jude's Lodge.

We were met with a warm welcome by the owner. Accommodation is a short walk from the centre. Good breakfast, cereal, fruit and cooked breakfast also available all buffet style. The room and all areas were clean. Some parts could do with revamp but bed was extremely comfortable and surroundings quiet so had a fabulous nights rest. The owners were very friendly and allowed us to leave our car ,for the day and have a coffee once we had checked out. All in all would recommend for a stay in Galway.

We had no reservations for Galway, but were able to reserve a room two nights before our stay. The B&B is clean, practical, well-maintained, in a good location - a short stroll to the center. We found the room facing the back very quiet. The breakfast is very good. One of the owner's, who's name I cannot recall, was able to get us a B&B room for one night on Inis Mor on the Aran Islands, when we were unable to find an available room ourselves. Also gave us advice on catching the ferry in the morning. You will spend most of your time in Galway in the pubs and enjoying the music in the pubs and in the street.

Our family had such a great time staying at St. Jude's. Sean and Donal were so accomodating and their hospitality was out of this world. The binder in the rooms provided all the answers to any possible questions and the breakfasts were amazing. Even when we had to check-out super early before the kitchen staff would have the food out, they offered us snacks to take with us on the road. I am in awe of their kindness and helpfulness.

Really pleased we stayed here for a night in Galway. Walking distance from the pubs or 5 mins in a cab. The staff are really friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was spacious and clean and bed was comfy. Good price compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast was a good spread and we would definitely stay here again if we came back.
