I am surprised this hotel isn't in the top 10 on Trip Advisor for Galway as I thought it was a excellent hotel. The services was outstanding, the location is great and the hotel inside is beautiful. I will definitely be staying here again when in the area.

We fell in love with this property during our recent stay. We were on the 5th floor and could access the Executive Lounge -- a wonderful facility to relax and read or take notes or actually conduct business. The rooms are incredibly spacious, which is something rare for European standards. This hotel is in the heart of Galway only a10...

Taking the time to experience an afternoon tea while visiting Ireland was a special addition to our 9 days in Ireland. Stephen, our attentive server, was helpful in suggesting we allow the chef to decide our sandwich choices once we excluded 2 of the many. The tea was hot and the pot refreshed in a timely way. Brown bread with...

Had a group there for afternoon tea at the weekend, was really well looked after by the staff who couldn't have done enough for our group! Afternoon tea is very reasonable, and it's in a very relaxed setting. Would def recommend for afternoon tea!

I visited this place on a Saturday evening waiting for a connection bus to take me back to Sligo, and when I arrived into the hotel to get something to eat, I was waiting for what appeared to be an eternity for service as there was loads of personnel on the floor but they were too busy with other priorities....

We had a family room which was a great size and the hotel provided us with a cot for our baby. We did not eat an evening meal in the hotel however breakfast...

We were part of a tour group, over Easter week, and Good Friday no alcohol could be served.....except to residents of hotel....boy did we lockout. All the pubs were closed. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms spacious. A delight to stay at the Meyrick, and easy to find when you go out for a hike.

Lovely foyer, bars and seating areas. Food in the restaurant was lovely, but a bit slow to get started. Great gluten free options. Breakfast was buffet style, lovely variety. Looked after very well as part of the hen party. Our own area in the bar, cocktail making in another section of the bar. Had a lovely spa treatment as part...
