Climbers Inn is a traditional Irish pub with shop and post office attached - brings you right back to the roots of a gentle mountain community. Set in glorious landscape this charming little pub nestles into the Kerry Highlands where you will have magnificent views of MacGillycuddys reeks while sipping a pint over a quiet game of pool in the...

Our group of 6 booked this hostel while we were hiking in the area and we loved it. Sheila the owner put us all in a dorm room together which had its own shower and although basic, was very comfortable. The best thing about this hostel is that it has a bar with a pool table in it and the...

We came across this Hostel while walking the Kerry Way. Dorm price was 25 Euros, which is quite steep. Blankets and sheets were dirty, drying room is only turned on after 6 people at least need it. Staff was ok, but didn't seem to care much about us. Usually I don't care, but since I had to pay 25 Euros...

I arrived at the hostel without a booking and the landlady advised me that a hostel dorm room was 25 euros. There was no advertised pricing at the front desk. She simply made up the price based upon what she thought I could pay. I explained that the pricing was excessive compared to other hostels around the country and she...

I had originally booked 3 nights stay in this inn . Whist the rooms were spotless , the rest of the facilities were scarce to say the least. They advertise hot meals only to find out soup and sandwiches were available. My clothes were soaked after my walk and so I went to the drying room ,only to find out...

“DOuble ensuite room good value : lovely big bed, very comfortable sleep. Avoid the ground floor dorm. Some rooms sleep families.”

“Rooms at the back of the house are quieter, ie not facing the road. This essentially is a hostel that doubles as a B+B. Hence there are 3/4 bed spaces in each room. One room has 6.”
