Tom and his family are the shining gems of this place. They make this place excellent. Tom's knowledge of the area and his willingness to share that information with his guests, make chatting with him a unique pleasure. Make sure to get up a little early before breakfast to have a nice conversation with Tom over your morning coffee. The... More

Our first genuine Irish hosts since we arrived in Ireland a week ago. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything we need and the breakfast very good. But the main delight of staying here was Tom, who is a great character and always had time for a chat and a laugh and gave us very useful information about the... More

We stayed as 2 couples at the end of August. Tom was very helpful in guiding us around Killarney. The house is close to town and to the park. Breakfasts were delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We would recommend.

We were in Killarney for 3 nights and it was really awesome. We had a hearty welcome from Tom on our first day. He was great, helped us and gave a few tips for discovering Killarney and surroundings. Nevertheless the room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. Also the breakfast was really good, perfect start in the... More

Very clean room. Great breakfast. My husband said the best salmon and eggs. We stayed at 4 B&B's. Tom and Marese were very friendly, out going and accommodating. The location is perfect! Home is within walking distance to city center. We had a wonderful stay. Would stay again and recommend! Thank you Tom and Marese.

My wife and I stayed at Cillcearn Guesthouse for 3 nights in mid-May 2016. We had the most amazing time in Killarney. Tom and Merese were gracious and informative hosts who were always looking out for our interests. Their home is meticulously cared for and the room we had was like a home away from home. Their friendliness, coupled with... More

We were booked at this B&B for 2 nights recently. We were touring southern Ireland and had a booking for a tour of The Ring of Kerry the next day. We arrived later-around 7:30 and had called ahead saying we would be there after 6:pm as requested by the owner. Our room was very small, nothing out of the ordinary... More

Tom and Marese are simply wonderful. They are friendly and casual, like visiting with family. Breakfast was superb every day! As far as seeing the sights, similar to what others have said, Tom gave us excellent tour tips and also places to avoid when going out to eat. It's not smack in the center of things, but that's actually nice... More

The owners are awesome! They suggested places to eat as well as where to go. Tom convinced me to do the Beara Peninsula instead of the Ring of Kerry. I am so glad I did. Just beautiful. The room was nice and the breakfast selections were great. I will definitely stay here again if I am in Killarney.

My fiance and I visited Ireland for the first time from the United States this past spring 2015. This was our second destination on the island and very special because it was during St. Patrick's Day (aka St Paddy's Day no Patty's)! Our Host was incredibly accommodating and friendly, very familiar with the area which was very helpful for us.... More
