Don’t think this excellent b&b is in Killarney: you have to travel some ten kilometers along the Ring of Kerry way and then to turn to the second left you find to the Gapo of Dunloe and travel again some three kilometers along a narrow road before entering the garden. Just then you are in the middle of the country,...

The Ferris Wheel is located in the shadow of some of Ireland's highest mountains, right at the beginning of the Gap of Dunloe. Note that currently Google maps location for the B&B is incorrect. The correct location is about 1 km north of the indicated location. John and Nora Ferris are warm, friendly, witty hosts. Both went out of their way...

At first, we were disappointed by the location, being farther from Killarney than we anticipated. But we soon realized that the B&B was just down the road from the Gap of Dunloe, where we spent a day hiking and enjoying the bar/restaurant at the beginning of the trail. Also, the location was very quiet and relaxing, but close enough to...

pros - location in the countryside away from the tourist crowds in Killarney - modern and clean - good breakfast - nice people cons - can hear people in their rooms as you walk past - had to wait at breakfast time as not enough seating, perhaps if they are full they should organise different sitting times like 7-830 and...

Stayed for two nights while visiting the Ring of Kerry and what a fantastic choice. The area is first class, the rooms are first class, the breakfast is first class and the price is first class. Will definitely be back.

Great little spot, minutes from Killarney and a nice base if you're down that part of the country. Everything was fine in the B&B itself, room was clean, a good size and the breakfast was good. Owners were nice as well. Good handbook in the rooms as well with plenty of information on the surrounding area.

John and Nora made us feel very welcome, with lots of handy info on the locality (and what a stunning location it is in, within a short walk of the Gap of Dunloe). Nice clean room and a very good breakfast. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at the Ferris Wheel for two nights, the standard was first class. We have stayed at some 4 and 5 star hotels that were not as good, for the price paid it was excellent value for money. Everything was exceptional down to the cups and saucers and the knives and forks. I would have no...

Stayed at the B&B for a couple of days with wife and daughter. The perfect sport to visit Killarney as well as the main surroundings including Gap of Dunloe (two minutes up the road), Carrauntohill (5 minutes up the road) and Killarney (about 10 minutes drive). Location is perfect and very quiet. The hotel rooms and bathroom are spotless and...

I have stayed at the Ferris Wheel three times. The Owners, John and Nora, are fantastic people. The rooms are clean and well kept. The breakfasts are very good with ample variety. The location can't be beat. It is convenient to The Gap of Dunloe, Kate Kearney's Cottage, downtown Killarney and the ring of Kerry. I look forward to staying...
