There are a lot of B&B, hotels and places to stay in Killarney with the Ring of Kerry at your fingertips, but you shouldnt look past Old Weir Lodge. This is a beautiful place, about a 10 minute walk into the town, a 5 minute drive to Ross Castle, and the amazing Ring of Kerry attractions all not that far...

Our room was beautiful, and hotel itself had a lovely old-time feel to it, with the fireplace in the lobby and beautiful old furniture. The breakfast was okay at best, their fried eggs were really weird and sausages not as good as in many other places in Ireland. Waffles with honey were good though, and there was fresh fruit as...

I'm not sure I can say enough good things about this hotel. Here is the short list: *The accommodations were wonderful. The lodge itself was cozy and nice. We had a room for three adults and the room was spacious and comfortable. *The location was very convenient - just a short walk from downtown Killarney with all of the bars,...

Myself and my daughter travelled down to Killarney as we were going to see Gavin  James in the INEC. We picked this guesthouse because of its close location to the venue and we definitely did not regret it. This place is FABULOUS. It's more like a hotel than a guest house! We met a lovely member of staff on arrival...

Staffed by friendly and helpful family, son Rory helped locate rain ponchos and gave sound advice about our impending trip to Skellig Michael. Lodge boasts carved woodwork, fireplace with couches, formal dining room. Spacious room with two queen beds and full bathroom made this a welcome change of pace from the normally tiny B&B bedrooms. Not located near much in...

The Old Weir Lodge was our first hotel on a recent trip to Ireland and we are thrilled with this place. The family owners are more than happy to help you with anything - restaurants, logistics, tours, pubs, sightseeing and recommendations about other places we were going in Ireland. The rooms were large, very comfortable and perfect for my wife,...

The hotel was nice enough. The room was large and clean, but the elevator to get up with your luggage was TINY - just enough room for 2 people and 2 large suitcases to squeeze in. The hotel is on a main street and the staff were friendly and helpful. Well worth it.

Wonderful hotel, perfect location. Great place as a base for exploring Killarney and the surrounding national parks including the Ring of Kerry. The staff were great and the accommodation was perfect. Only catered for breakfast but they were able to recommend some terrific local resaurants.
