We arrived on a Friday afternoon and were met by Anna. We got a lovely reception and were given the key to a spotless room. Everything about our stay was fantastic and the staff couldn’t do more to help us. Will definitely be returning when we can!
On arrival we were ignored and then finally told to sit down even though their were no seats available. The receptionist was very rude towards everyone. We were told before arriving breakfast was over at 12 and the bar was closed at 12. However when we arrived we were told breakfast would now be over at 10:30 and the bar would be closed at 11. During breakfast I had the wrong breakfast served to me and when the waiter was told she tried to convince me that’s what I ordered. When booking over the phone we were told we didn’t have to make any bookings for restaurant and pubs that they would be able to get us access, however when we arrived we were told this was not possible and so had two nights of not being able to get in anywhere. We spent the whole two nights trying to get into places as we wanted nothing more to do with the hotel.…
Booked in originally for three nights with my partner on the 7th June but ended up staying longer. The accommodation was spotless and had beautiful décor throughout. We upgraded to an executive room which also had a jacuzzi bath. Management and staff were faultless. Made myself and my partner feel so welcome and went out of their way to assist us, even when my partner fell ill. I can't thank them enough for all their help, especially James and Anne. It was a pity we had to go but we will definitely return soon. I would highly recommend The Fairview.
Stayed here in the penthouse suite with my boyfriend for three nights and it was absolutely lovely. Such a good deal for a penthouse room and very nice and helpful staff. There was a great view from the balcony and overall just a very enjoyable experience. Will definitely come back in the future.
We were in the penthouse suite and there were no problems whatsoever, everything was as good as expected if not better, the staff were very friendly and helped whenever there was an issue. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was top class. View of the mountains was also great and the area was ideal. Would heavily recommend
