I really had a wonderful time at the Kingfisher lodge, The hosts were very polite and helpful in a professional and yet familiar way. Thank you again! The location is also ideal and relatively quiet. I will be back soon. Cheers

The owners were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area and what places to visit. It is a very short walk to pubs and shops. Bed was comfortable and food was delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to go back!

I rarely give 5 stars. And this one doesn't get 5 stars because it is upmarket, luxurious or any of those things but simply because of the service. The room was very straightforward, neat and pleasant. It had everything we required. Breakfast was great! The welcome at reception by Ann was first-class and she was extremely helpful getting us in...

This B&B was fantastic. The folks who ran the place and the help were friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were spacious, quiet and very clean. Just a great place to come home to after a long day of touring.

This was our second visit to the Kingfisher, the first time we called in on the way past, this time we booked ahead, the place is faultless, beautiful rooms and surroundings to match. Plenty of parking ( 4 bikes in our case) safely tucked away at the back of the house. Breakfast was top class, the only down side was...

I have just completed 5 weeks of touring in Ireland and Kingfisher Lodge is unquestionably the best accommodation option I found. I stayed at Kingfisher twice, for one night before walking the Kerry Way and having liked it so much I stayed for two more nights after finishing my walking. Kingfisher is purpose built and as a consequence it is...

Friendly helpfull owner, you can see that they really care! Very nice rooms - cosy, clean and comfortable. Great area - right near the town center, 3 minutes walking from all the restaurants and bars. Live music everywhere during the weekend nights. Great breakfast - fresh and with wide selection. Higly recommended accomodation.

I stayed at the Kingfisher while on a 3-night tour of southwestern Ireland. I was lucky to get a room with an ensuite due to a cancellation...otherwise, this might have been a very different review. The accommodations were quiet, comfortable and clean...the breakfast superb. If this guesthouse hadn't been so far from town, facilitating the need to walk so far...

Warm welcome. Very convenient to town. Eventhough the weather was very wet we were able to enjoy restaurants and local pubs entertainment etc by just strolling the short distance into the centre of Killarney. Our hosts pointed out various local places of interest to visit daily. Our accommodation was excellent and very pleasantly appointed our room overlooking a beautiful orchard....

Ann & Donal were as welcoming as one could hope for. The proprietors went out of their way to be helpful. Spot-on suggestions for things to do, places to see, and venues for meals. Our room, upstairs, and up front (#1), had plenty of room, presented itself well, and was kept extremely neat and clean by the staff. The Irish...
