This place is worth staying at. We stayed in 'The Lodge' on the grounds but you have the castle at your disposal all day snd night. Enjoy a few quite drinks in the bar, in the period decorated quite rooms or in their beautiful gardens. Food is just amazing and the staff are more than helpful and friendly to chat...

We absolutely loved our stay at Ballyseede Castle. Everything from the rooms to the service were outstanding. The bar downstairs is a wonderful place to spend your evening drinking old fashions and listening to the bartenders stories. The only complaint we had was that there were TONS of small kids running around all over the place. Literally lying on the...

My husband and I stayed at Ballyseede Castle this past fall while on our honeymoon and had the most spectacular time! The staff was wonderful from start to finish, from helping us arrange our room and dinner reservations to following up with a requested recipe card after our visit, the customer service was truly spot on. The room was very...

Ballyseede is a beautiful place and we enjoyed our brief stay. The amenities are more US 3 star but it is clean and incredibly charming. Rooms appear to be very all large and very Irish. Perhaps the best part is the common areas. We had drinks and breakfast--both excellent. My wife is a celiac and they were easily able to...

This castle was very quaint and spooky!! Loved it. Felt like we were being watched the entire night. The dogs that are at the bar are cut and friendly. The Irish breakfast was delicious. Also Esther gave us some local hints and we went to dingle for the day. Thank you Esther. Our rooms were beautiful.

I suspect many people, like myself, consider this hotel because they are looking for a night in a well rated but affordable castle. This hotel does meet those qualifications. It is impressive and looks and feels like a castle. Will the service, luxury, or ammenities blow you away? Probably not. But there are more pricey castles if that is really...

Stayed here on a recommendation and found that the service was patchy and the bathrooms need a bit of work. Checkin and checkout were friendly and courteous. Arrived at the room and the door was wide open. I thought this was strange from a security and safety point of view. The room and the four poster bed looked really well...

Our family of four stayed here and had a wonderful time. Our children still talk about the resident dogs, Mr Higgins, Bubbles, and of course Einstein and his rocks. The breakfasts were terrific, the service so attentive and of course the house itself is such a treasure. Would love to return one day!

This castle is amazing! You will not be disappointed! It is like what you picture a castle to be, but more. It's not just the glitz and the glam, but to our delight, there was so much personal charm. Esther, one of the wonderful staff there, made our stay memorable. She invited my daughter to feed (and name) the resident...
