Tried out Samuel's restaurant in the hotel on recommendation of 2 locals we happened to meet. Did not disappoint, food was really good and staff were friendly and helpful. I had a chicken rigatoni pasta dish which was possibly the best pasta I have ever tasted. Sorry no pic of same as I had started into it before I realised...

Family trip, my mum, my 4mth old son and I. Bad points : no lift so had to carry heavy luggage and a baby upstairs, nowhere to put our pram so was left in lobby all day and locked away that night, cooked breakfast wasn't great as very very greasy, walls were paper thin in the bedroom so was woken...

Dear Guest, On behalf of The Grand Hotel team, we are disappointed that your stay did not meet your expectations. Due the archaic structure of the hotel, we unfortunately do not occupy a lift. We offer complimentary porterage which is available 24/7. We apologise for any inadequacy you experienced. We appreciate bringing your concerns to our attention. We will work...

After never being to Ireland before. I cannot believe the experience I had. On first arrival to the Grand Hotel in the centre of Tralee, we were welcomed with smiles and welcomed straight in. After sorting room keys out for all our party, the staff had laid on a beautiful stew as we did not arrive until 10pm. Friendly staff...

The hotel is an old style on a central street. No private parking but we managed to find a spot on the street that allowed us free parking until next morning. The staff were nice and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable but was on a second floor without an elevator. Breakfast was really good. Location is excellent.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your recent review. We are delighted with your positive comments. We hope your stay was comfortable and enjoyable. With our town centre location, many of our guests avail from the on- street parking available. However, the hotel offers free permits for a nearby car park, which is approximately a 3 minute walk from our hotel....

A well positioned hotel in the centre of Tralee. The staff were first class and could not be more helpful. Food is first class and the traditional Kerry breakfast is enough to fill you for the best part of the day. The craig in the bar is even better! Our room was clean and very comfortable.

This quaint hotel is very old style and a bit dreary for me. It is quaint and a bit dull in decor but what it lacks in charisma it makes up in character. Old world charms of welcoming, hearty meals, smiling faces and very helpful staff aren't easily bought and it's here in abundance. Rooms are very comfortable & clean....

Dear Guest, Thank you for your recent review. We are disappointed that our hotel décor was not favourable. Our hotel opened in the early 20th century. A lot of our furnishings correspond to the era it was established. We appreciate your comments and will review them. We are always happy to receive feedback from our customers. We hope your stay...
