My husband and I returned as guests by the management after an upsetting visit a number of months to go...caused by other guests not having respect for the hotel guests and not keeping the noise level down during our two night break..children run riot from early morning in their room and down the corridor ....this time we had the pleasure...

We stayed here courtesy of a gift voucher, so it was free for us. We were upgraded automatically to a superior room - you could have fitted another double bed into it, and it could already sleep three comfortably! Lots of hotels treat the bathrooms as an afterthought, but it was clear that some care had been taken over the...

Myself and my partner stayed for two nights in Newpark and could have absolutely no complaints. A joy from start to finish, we were early for check in so we requested to leave our bags there whilst we went down in to the town as the room was being prepared and the lovely lady I think Maria was her name...

Booked here for 2 nights for relaxing weekend absolutely exhausted. Didn't sleep both nights from the heat in the room no air con and even with a window open it's just sickly. Had food here in bar last night was really nice , spa lovely but just so tired now I'll never come here again . Can't wait to go...

Had been travelling around Ireland and had stayed at some great places. Had noticed this hotel had mixed reviews but thought we would give it chance. As other reviewers have said, the rooms let it down. Old furniture and I don't mean antique! More like the 70's style which may eventually have a come back! Bed was comfortable though and...

We arrived at 2.30 and checked in and got our room straight away. The room had a queen size bed and two singles and was spotless. The food was excellent the staff were very attentive and helpful. We met some elderly folk from Cork and had a great old sing song brilliant weekend.

Lobby is simply amazing! Fireplace and cozy seating make it very welcoming. Food was really good too, and the bar was nice. However, the rooms really bring this hotel down. I would rate room quality as a 2 star hotel actually. Small and cramped, outdated furniture, NO thermostat makes for an extremely uncomfortable environment - it was so hot in...

This was a nice older hotel with a lot of amenities. They have a pool, hot tub, bar, petting zoo. Unfortunately, I would definitely not recommend this hotel unless you bring children. It is not suitable for a relaxing time. The walls are thin, small children are running around everywhere, and it is a bit farther from the downtown area...

A very welcoming hotel. Spotless hotel and exceptional staff. The bar food is nothing short of excellent with a fast service. This beautiful hotel is easy to get to and only a few minutes from Kilkenny town with loads to see. We will be staying there again. Thank you

Just a quick overnite stay. Very nice. I will be recommending it to friends and family. I'm vegetarian so it was nice to find a good selection on the menu. The rooms were nice and very clean. I absolutely loved waking up to the sounds of the animals around the property. It gave a wonderful feeling of being out in...
