Although the owner was accommodating the place is caught in a time warp. The standard was poor, room was cold and towels old and shabby. Breakfast a disaster- milk sour and I guess that with the exception of the egg the rest was reheated.

We stayed at the Rodini B&B on June 2016. It's located just a 15 min walk from the town center which is not bad. Mary's hospitality and kindness was exceptional and the breakfast was great. We enjoyed very much our stay in the big, cozy room.

The main issue here is security. The owner repeatedly went out leaving the ground floor windows open - including in rooms that had people's stuff in them, and including into the night. I raised this with her the morning I left and got some excuses, but half an hour later she went out for the morning, again leaving two front...

Rodini is a handy B&B close to Kilkenny city centre offering great value for money. It is professional, laid-back homely and the cooked breakfast the following day is delicious. Great value for a night out in the city with the personal touch for breakfast next morning. Would definitely recommend.

I was attending a wedding in the city centre and the prices for hotel rooms were totally crazy especially as a solo visiter. I was delighted to find a great price at this B and B. So expected nothing. It was a 15 minute walk from the centre and a cheap taxi ride back when later at night. I had...

My boyfriend and I stayet at Rodini for a night and we had a quite enjoyable experience. The lady was very nice, she made us coffee and tea on our arrival and was happy to wake up early the following morning to cook us a full Irish breakfast! We also asked her for restaurant recommendations and directions and she was...

This b&b is at a good location. The owner was very helpful and friendly, the room was spacious and clean. We would have like to have two armchairs in the room, as it is big enough for the added furniture. The only thing we can complain about was the blown light bulb of the bedside table.

Pros: Location. The b&b is close enough to the city that you can walk in for dinner and enjoy a drink. However, another guest said it was a bit far to walk to from the bus station carrying your things. Hospitality. The woman there was very nice and made us coffee/tea upon arrival, though she had a hurried feeling about...

We visited Kilkenny on a busy weekend, and can only assume this is why the Tourist Centre referred us to this B & B. It was noticeably dirty, with white fur on the chairs and dust on furniture. We felt very uncomfortable, like staying with a relative who didn't want you there and could hardly wait to leave in the...

stayed here for two nights and really didn't like it. Would not recommend you to stay here. Owner is nice but she has dogs and there is dog hair everywhere, on the beds, on the carpets and I even found one on my toast!! the rooms were big but very stuffy and not clean, there was dust on the bed...
