The staff are so welcoming even from the phone reservations to the staff you will meet in the hotel, they can not do enough for you. The hotel is chic modern with a twist of old world still having the old features of the old estate house. We had dinner in Yindees which was excellent, followed by a few social...

I promised myself we'd get back here after such a lovely stay a few months ago,(see previous review also). So after emptying the piggybank again, we made it back on a recent Friday night. This hotel has everything a 5 star should have. The suites (we were lucky enough to avail of an upgrade) are really nice. We had a...

My wife & I stayed here over the October bank holiday weekend. We were really looking forward to a few nights away on our own without the child. We arrived early & our room wasn't ready but that was ok as we had planned to have the afternoon tea. It was fantastic & the staff were very attentive. We headed...

This is a gorgeous hotel. It is beautifully maintained has plenty of character. The rooms are clean, well presented and modern. The bar areas allow old world charm, and the restaurant is excellent for a hotel. Kilkenny is not far away, and is a good place to visit for a good night life. I would absolutely recommend this hotel

First time in Lyrath but not the last. From reception -where we were upgraded -to the bar, to the dining (Pearls) the welcome was notable. The manager really impressed us & we got into a great discussion on Arts Week with recommendations where to visit for a pre-theatre drink etc He rightly is very proud of his team & the...

Just returned from a two night stay in the Lyrath. While much of my stay was pleasant the Hotel is shooting itself in the foot by charging 15 Euro to use the Oasis Spa if you are not having a treatment. What makes this worse is that the only sauna in the Hotel is located in the Oasis Spa and...

We had bar food on Sunday afternoon which was delicious and good value for money. We found the staff extremely friendly, helpful, warm and friendly, I cant say enough about the staff. It was a...
