Some receptionists were good to deal with over the phone. However, one single mattress had a capri sun spilt on it, I received an email saying €250 was taken from my account to cover the mattress and the room on a Sunday night in January. I feel this is highly excessive.

Stayed in The George hotel Limerick last night. By far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Carpets throughout the hotel were filthy. Rooms very tiny NOT cozy. It was a struggle to walk around the bed. Room was freezing. We thought the window was open but no it was just not sealed. Noisy all night. €173 for a tiny, freezing bed… no breakfast. My advice - Stay somewhere else

We got off to a bad start as we had trouble finding our way from the car park to the hotel. The hotel sign is hard to find. Had to go upstairs to the reception, when we checked in we were asked for photo ID? The room was fine, we went for a room with the king size bed. The shower was in a bath and there was a shower curtain, didn’t like this. Had a snack in the bar which was nice and the staff were excellent and very friendly. I would probably stay there again as the location is very good.

Not sure why this hotel claims to be four stars. We stayed for a single night in September while travelling around Ireland. Unfortunately, our stay was not great. If travelling in the summer, please be aware that the hotel rooms have no air conditioning which we discovered when we entered our room. We were greeted with a room that was excessively hot and stuffy with only a small fan to somehow cool the room. The room window opens only a small amount, not enough to cool the room and faced a noisy road with restaurants and bars which were open until the early hours of the following day. Did not get much sleep that night! Had dinner in the restaurant food was OK, but not value for money, staff are quite good but charged us four times for dinner. Breakfast the following day was average, nothing special and very busy. All in all, if we were staying in Limerick again would stay elsewhere.

Fabulous hotel right in the centre of the city. Lovely staff and car parking is very near the hotel which is ideal! Couldn’t fault it rooms are fab with a Nespresso machine, bottled water and chocolates. Rituals body care in every bathroom shampoo and conditioner included which was a fantastic extra! Couldn’t fault it will definitely be back!

This is a lovely, friendly city centre hotel, with smart but comfortable rooms and public areas, an excellent restaurant and unfailingly helpful and welcoming staff. Every aspect of my stay ran smoothly and happily.

I spend total of 5 nights here and it was amazing! The room was spacious and quiet. The bed was large and very comfy. The 5€ credit thing was genious! I did not need roomservice, so instead I got 20€ worth of free food from the restaurant. I got a pepperoni pizza and garlic bread and both were so good! Staff at the restaurant were truly amazing and made sure I left with a full bag of food because i missed the last breakfast! Wifi here was quick and working really well. Everything was within a walking distance. 5/5 would recommend this place!

How is this a 4 star hotel? Room the size of a cupboard, double bed the size of a king single. Not even room to pull the chair out from the desk where the TV is on the side cus there's no room. Check-in staff arrogant. Negative signs as soon as you walk in the door shouting out instructions for customers. Lobby toilets locked! Who are they expecting in their hotel? Really disappointed. Wife and I eat room service dinner on the bed cus the room was so small. 4 stars my a%$e...
