Ed Sheeran doing two nights in Dublin meant half of Ireland was booked out. Windsor Lodge released two rooms and they were gone inside 10 minutes and we were lucky to get one. Lovely rooms, friendly welcome, great breakfast, superb service. We particularly liked the lounge area and would go back in a heartbeat. It's easy to find and there's...

I booked the wrong type of room and they made the change for me with no muss and no fuss! The owners made us feel very comfortable, made great recommendations for the town AND printed maps for us to get us to our next stop! The breakfast was fantastic! Stay here and have a great time!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Olive at Windsor Lodge. So welcoming and friendly. A great location for day trip adventures. Comfortable rooms and delightful atmosphere. Great dinner suggestion at the Fisherman.

I arrived late at night, an absolutely lovely and accommodating welcome. The room was excellent and at a great price relative to everywhere else I'd been in Ireland. It was so good that I ended up coming back and staying here for the last night before I flew back home out of Dublin. Also a nice selection of hard and...

I made booking over the phone and agreed a price. When checking in, they tried to overcharge and when I challenged it there was no questions asked. The agreed price was immediately accepted. This leads me to believe they were just 'chancing their arm' at making an extra 10 EUR out of me. The pictures say it all in regards...

WindsorLodge, Owner at Windsor Lodge, responded to this review

We regret this isolated and unfortunate experience that this reviewer has had with their stay at Windsor Lodge. Two points were raised which oblige a more detailed response. First, it was important to know the circumstances of the guest's booking. Room rates vary based on whether the room is booked directly or through an agent. There was no attempt to...

You will NOT be disappointed staying here! John and Olive are very seasoned with their B&B and run a tight ship. You'll be well looked after, and they can offer advice to the sights & sounds of everything Drogheda has to offer along with the surrounding area. It's a very attractive B&B, easily accessible from the Dublin airport with less...

Picked this property partly based on the reviews on hotels.com. The property is split between houses and the welcome warm and friendly. Unfortunately the rooms are dated and tired, there is an odd smell in house 2 and the water in the taps was neither cold nor fresh smelling. Breakfast was ok but lots of others chose to have breakfast...

Words cannot express the experience my friend Frank and I had there. John and Olive are some of the most lovely people we have met, and their B&B feels so homey, welcoming, and is just beautiful all around. Not only that, but it is out of the city, but one need only walk ten minutes to get into town. There...
