We stayed for two nights. Rocksberry B&B is situated in a great location, close to Castlebar and Westport. We ate dinner in Castlebar, where there are some great pubs. We also spent a day in Westport. The service was great at Rocksberry, it was very clean. Breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs and ham.

Rocksberry is nicely situated. Close to some great dining in Castlebar. Westport too, but we didn't go there to eat. It was a great base for Croagh Patrick and we went down to Connemara National Park as well. Not a long trip at all, and Rocksberry is a nice spot to come home to at night. Our room was spacious,...

I stayed here three days with my wife and young son on our 10 day trip to Ireland. This was our first stop of our trip and we were so happy to have stayed with Bernie and John. They are loving and welcoming people who made us feel like friends from the very beginning. They made us feel at home...

My husband and I with our 14 month old were recently visiting family in the Castlebar area and were looking for comfortable, clean, and welcoming accommodation where we would be able to interact with local residents. We found exactly what we were looking for at Rocksberry. With an early arrival from our flight, we ended up in Castlebar much earlier...

We arrived at the time stated on our reservation. No one was home! 2hours later after a neighbour called the owner, someone appeared to let us in. Beds were comfortable. The room was clean except for the shower that needed a good scrubbing to remove the mildew. The final touch was finding two hairs tangled in my scrambled eggs. Yuck!

We had room 4 which is a family room with a very comfortable double bed and 2 single beds. The room is very well equipped although it could be said the tv is quite small. The room was beautifully warm even though we weren't expected as we hadn't pre-booked. The bedding was beautifully clean with plenty of pillows and cushions....

Wonderful place to stay for one or more nights. We stayed here during our trip through the Wild Atlantic Way and at first were a bit disappointed it was quite hard to find given the directions provided to us by the travel agency. But this turned quite quickly into joy and happiness when de saw the surroundings and the rooms....

Bernadette was a wonderful hostess. It was a short jaunt into town, in view of Croagh Patrick, which we climbed the day after our stay. Room was clean and comfortable, the en suite bathroom was nice, and breakfast was delicious.

We came in off the road without a reservation, ended up staying two nights. It's on the edge of Castlebar, a straight shot into town. Nice sitting room, excellent wifi throughout the building. Bright rooms with good light for reading in bed, and bath with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious, made to order, good options including prunes for...

We stayed two nights in this B&B and had a warm welcome from our hosts. The room was good and clean. There were different options for breakfast, which was freshly made for us. It is conveniently located close to Castlebar and not too far to Westport and its beautiful surroundings (e.g. Achill Island).
