I was disappointed because we'd booked a deluxe room thinking we would have a better view. our window did...

The Knockranny House hotel is situated on the outskirts of the small West of Ireland town of Westport It is not surprising that this hotel has been awarded the title of The Best Hotel in Ireland". A number of years in a row As a frequent traveller I have stayed in fewer better hotels than this one. The rooms are...

Great hotel, great staff, good atmosphere. Handled the wedding very professionally, it was seamless just as it should be. The only small criticism was the breakfast was o. K. But not great. The room was spacious with a lovely view of the Atlantic. Overhaul would strongly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I had a wonderful time when we stayed here for a friends wedding the other week. We stayed in the cheapest room available at the time, but it was more than adequate for our needs. A very comfy double and single bed, seating area and bathroom. It was very clean and well kept. The breakfast was delicious...

We'd like express our thanks for a fantastic 50th Wedding Anniversary event last week. The whole weekend was very enjoyable which was in no small part to the staff at Knockranny. Everyone was commenting on how professional and helpful the staff were over the course of the weekend. The party itself was also a huge success. Again the staff on...

Visited here for one night while visiting the West. Really great hotel, few minutes walk from the town. We had a Master Suite which was very spacious and beautifully appointed. We certainly didn't find the walk to reception far as some previous reviewers have said. There was a wedding on when we were there and we never heard a sound...

We visited in September this year in miserable conditions. The hotel was very nice if a little pricey but it was a special treat. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the night we arrived in a very nice dining room with lovely views of the surrounding area. We can also recommend the lovely chowder in the very comfortable bar. The...

We booked in on a whim for a night and got a lovely large room. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The bar and restaurant have an amazing view. We had something to eat and cud watch the sunset over croke Patrick. You could get much nicer. Food was lovely. Would definitely suggest here to friends.

It's tough for a hotel to keep up its reputation. I was here in June and again in September and the hotel didn't let me down. June with my husband and September with my friends, on each occasion the food was lovely, the view of Croagh Patrick, from the dining room, is just stunning and is cinematic, changing from hour to...
