We stayed 3 nights in mid September. Ideal town centre hotel for exploring Westport and surrounding areas. Prompt efficient friendly staff at check in. Good sized room with everything you would expect. Pool, spa looked good but we ran out of time to use them. Lively bars at night. Free car parking. Breakfast was served in large restaurant. Help yourself... More

This hotel is very centrally located in Westport and within easy walking distance to numerous pubs, restaurants, shopping, etc. Also close to Westport House which is a nice relaxing are to take a walk. Courtyard at hotel pleasant for a late afternoon drink.

We were a party of 7 mature adults that spent 5 nights in this hotel from 21st September, we had a wonderful time the staff were great as was the food & entertainment. We also used the spa for different treatments & we all enjoyed our experiences. Some members of the party had been on this trip a number of... More

The first smile and welcome was from the lady cleaning the brass on the entrance to this wonderful property. The receptionist was great, nothing was a problem, the barstaff at all time of the day and night were bright and friendly our rooms were well appointed everything you needed just one problem was the poor instant coffee. Breakfast was amazing... More

When it comes to Westport the Castlecourt is the best place to stay if you want to spend the night out crawling around the town. We arrived on All Ireland final day and the bar was full and atmospheric. Had a nice couple of pints of Guinness during the match. Reception was smooth and friendly in getting us sorted for... More

We stayed here recently as a couple recently while visiting the area and climbing Croagh Patrick, we had a four poster room, on the second floor, my partner had a massage in the nearby spa and enjoyed it thoroughly. We dined in the restaurant & had drinks in the bar even though the country & western music? was not to... More

The hotel is through an archway on the road into town from Castlebar. This leads to a courtyard area where the hotel is on the right hand side with another hotel on the left hand side. There is parking at the rear of the hotel or in an underground car park also at the rear of the building. There are... More

We were a party of six 60 year old "Girls" who have a reunion annually. The hotel was very friendly, with such nice staff, particularly Laura on reception, Mary in the dining room and our wonderful cleaner (room 153 and 152, two triple rooms) The beds were supremely comfortable and the bathroom, although slightly dated, was spotless, with hot water... We visited this hotel for two nights this August. At first blush this hotel appears very nice and the rooms are comfortable and normally I would have rated the hotel better. However, this hotel seems to be popular with weddings. It seems to be common practice here for the wedding guests to leave their kids to run amok in their... More
