To say the portion size was huge is an understatement!! Amazing food with a great lively atmosphere, the place was buzzing with people & i love the design...

We had a great weekend in Westport. Pubs, restaurants and people were so friendly and went out of their way to help lost looking strangers! David Coyne was particularly attentive in the Helm Pub and Restaurant. Very friendly. Keep up the attention to detail.👍

We have just arrived back from Westport where we stayed at The Helm. Where do I begin ... the apartments are clean and well equipped, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is just fabulous and plentiful. Would thoroughly recommend.

The apartment was No.1, which was a three bedroomed, one ensuite and kitchen diner overlooking the quay and across to the fields beyond. The apartment was spotless and well equipped and furnished comfortably. The apartments are above the Helm, which is a truly great place, offering easy access to Westport Quay and Westport town. The evening meal and breakfast was...

Bring your sleeping bags and your hats.. The apartment was that cold it make a snow man look warm.. Breakfast not much better, sausages just an hour away from going off and almost as cold as the apartment.

We stayed for a couple of nights in October, initially we were allocated a smaller apartment on the second floor, accessed by an outside steel staircase, with a bedroom then a further claim up another staircase, which with luggage & no lift was a bit of a climb! Lounge was somewhat dark & a little dingy, needless to say we...

Our apartment had 3 bedrooms, 1 ensuite, sitting room/kitchen and 2nd shower room The apartments are very comfortable but could do with a little updating... not a complaint, just an observation. We had a great apartment overlooking the port though be aware that as they are...

These are multi-room apartments well maintained. Rooms over bar can be a little noisey. The food was excellent and staff was very helpful. They can help with any day trip or adventures you may want to undertake in Westport.
