11 of us stopped here on a golf tour (part of me didn't want to share this as I don't want the place to get booked up when I want to go again!) BUT I feel I owe it to Vinny The "Legend" who looked after us so well. I found The Helm via Trip Adviser & my plan was...

We were walk-ins and they only had a two-bedroom apartment available, but they let us have it for the usual B&B rate for two. It was a corner room with a view of the harbor, a big living room and kitchen and a washer dryer which came in handy as we were 10 days into a 20-day road trip. The...

Great spot. Apartments are fab, spacious and clean. The Helm bar itself is a great spot, great atmosphere, fantastic food and lovely staff. Did a lovely run on a marked path into the town and back about 5km, really nice. Will be making a return visit

Apartments were very large and spacious. Staff and management were extremely friendly and polite. I would have no problem staying there again or advising anyone to stay Price was fantastic as well 3 days with the family for €200 with breakfast each day as well. You also have full usage of the pool and leisure center in the hotel up...

Nice accomodation in luxury appartment. A warm welcome and even a drink was offered. Good traditional breakfast and a nice place to be. Located in the harbour. Quit a long distance from the city centre but enough activities in the surroundings.

I would highly recommend a stay in the Helm. A great price for a lovely little apartment that had plenty of space and facilities for myself and my three friends. There were three bedrooms - one double downstairs and two upstairs - each with a double and a single bed. There was a bathroom downstairs and an ensuite upstairs. The...

Excellent food at the helm this evening, we dropped in after a day trip to bertha beach and we really enjoyed the food, the cod and salmon were both excellent with mash pototoes, vegetables and chips, very generous portions with a very friendly service. The venue was a little bit dark and slightly cold hiding the beautiful day outside.
