B and B is located 3 km from the city, and the atmosphere as the country-peace and quiet. The owner friendly, obliging, helpful, breakfast tasty and nicely presented. The room for our family (two small children, ages 3 and 6 years old) was tailored to our needs. We travel a lot, and it was the best accommodation on the "Wild...

We arrived in a car and there was plenty of space to park. One of Evelyn's sons welcomed us and we were treated like family. He kindly showed us to our room versus marching through a bunch of "do's and don'ts." We had reserved a two night stay and our room on the main floor was lovely - one of...

Arrived in Sligo to a wonderful B&B perched on a hill overlooking mountains on every side. The sitting room had the best view of all the mountains we were hiking and touring during our stay! The host was friendly and helped us plan our day and the breakfast was superb! Highly recommend this house.

I loved staying here. It was like staying in a beloved aunt's home. The house has such character. So much beautiful china and so many interesting articles. The decor is from another time, which I thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. We were met by our hostess and shown to the upstairs sitting room. Tea and homemade cake awaited us on lovely...

Ms Evelyn was such a gracious lady and a welcoming hostess. The views were awsome from all sides of the house, we loved the sun room. We were accommodated with our choice of rooms even though I made a mistake with the reservations. Breakfast was yummy with homemade jams and bread. All together a wonderful experience.

We recently motored west to east across the north of Ireland, teach Eamainn was our third evening stop. As travellers not familiar with the geography we were a bit tired at the end of each day, but our host Evelyn immediately set out tea and treats in the sun room to help us feel at home. Our own room was...

A very enjoyable stay. A comfortable bedroom with wonderful views across the countryside. Most substantial breakfast with fresh fruit and yoghurt and the "full Irish" breakfast! Sets you up very well for the day. Useful tea and coffee making room which is also a sun-room in sunny weather. Very kind, friendly and generous hosts.

The lady was friendly and the house was warm when we arrived. The electric blanket was a plus! and breakfast was really nice and the lady and son were genuinely friendly and interested in our experience in Sligo. The house was clean and the views were great.

I loved the house, big and magnificent, very typical, with fitted carpet and dishes everywhere. I felt like I was at my grandma's house. I especially loved the tea room, very quiet and cosy, with a lot of sunlight from the windows. The room was big, and the bed was great too. Evelyn is straight, she has personnality. And if you...
