Holidayed here with husband & 2 children. Lovely big airy lobby area, with very efficient check-in. Rooms are big and clean. We ate in the bar food was lovely and great value got the family meal deal. Only downfall was the restaurant staff weren't the most helpful.

The hotel was beautiful from the outside, and impressive when we went inside. I travelled with three other girls, and our problem with staff not listening started the second we checked in. We booked our dinner for 7pm, and about a minute later the receptionist said 'so dinner for 8 is it?' I clarified the dinner for 7pm, and as...

Just had an overnight stay with my mother and my 2 kids (4 year and 1year). Arrived at around 2ish and were very lucky to find that our room was ready. We booked a family suite which has a separate bedroom and living room/Kitchen which is really handy when putting little ones to bed. Only downside to our room was...

I have just returned from vacation in this hotel. It's a charming building, quite beautiful in fact but the staff (except leisure and spa) were most unhelpful. I waited at the reception desk for 5 minutes before I got a greeting, despite Monica, not being on a telephone call or tending to other guests. Bar staff were abrupt and the...

Fabulous old stone building set in spacious grounds. Very spacious family suite, at an excellent price for B&B. Two very large rooms, with double, single, camp bed and sofa bed, a decent bathroom, kitchen and dining area. The very high ceilings add to the feeling of space, but unfortunately the décor especially in the living area is very bare and...

From the moment we arrived at this Hotel I was speechless! To enter such a beautifully restored building and hear the laughter of happy guests in a place where once tears and loneliness might have been the emotions of the patients long ago. This is a very special hotel and you will find it very difficult not to enjoy every...
