Checked in to this hotel on the 22nd February 2017. We were given an upgrade and our room was great. It was located looking out over the river and had a large balcony. The room itself was spacious, modern and clean with a large bathroom and a good supply of toiletries and towels. However, if you're thinking of eating at...

Stayed in the Glasshouse on a hen party last Saturday night. The hotel is very central and easy to find. Car parking is only €3 per night but the carpark is quite small. We were lucky to get a space first time :) The hotel decor is very retro which some might find offputting. I appreciated the quirkiness of it,...

This did not live up to our expectations. Whilst dinner was good and staff courteous the same cannot be said for breakfast. The food was cold and after a complaint the chef proceeded to scoop the food from the containers on the buffet counter and litterly slodh them into another set of containers and then wheel the trolley plus the...

First time to stay in the Glasshouse - a fantastic experience made special by the wonderful staff who work there. Accommodation, food and bar - all excellent. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and it was the many members of staff who we met who made this place so much more appealing than many of the other excellent hotels...

I stayed at the Glasshouse with my mother for the weekend as we used to holiday in the area when we were both a lot younger! The hotel was brilliantly placed as right in the centre and as mum cant get out and about I purposely booked a suite so as we had great views as windows are full length,...

Wonderful stay in the Glasshouse for our wedding anniversary. 2 nights bed and breakfast and one evening meal. Upgraded to a junior suite, had chocolates waiting for us on arrival and complimentary drinks. Meal was fantastic with high quality menu selection. Great buffet breakfast selection. Staff very friendly, accommodation clean, fantastic location and very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

You couldn't be more central. You walk out the door to the heart of Sligo. Check in was super fast... Lovely room. The only criticism I have is that the lifts are tiny and could be more efficient. Recommended

We stayed at The Glasshouse for 2 nights on a family trip. The location is fantastic, very central and on the river for lovely walks to shops, bars, cafes etc. The hotel itself falls short of its 4* rate in cleanliness and newness. Towels etc quite ragged and worn and generally it all feels a little dated. Staff all pleasant...
