Jim was left to 'man the fort' during our visit here as Brid was off in Dublin. He did a wonderful job and we were not disappointed. My wife had the best time helping with the early morning milking (we are normally up at 5am, so not early for us) and she'll never forget her wonderful experience. We were lucky... More

Our 1st night in the countryside we stayed at this wonderful B&B. We arrived just at milking time, we put on barn boots and coats and off we(Mom&daughter ) went to help milk the cows. Dad and son went into the local village of Mullinavat to talk to the locals. Milking brought back memories for me from my grandfather's dairy... More

We stayed here in August'16 and had a lovely stay with the Fitzpatricks. Large quiet room, and delicious breakfast included. We chose this B&B because my husband wanted to know more about agriculture in Ireland, and he was raised on a dairy farm so having the opportunity to stay here and help with the milking chores was a fun experience... When we arrived we got a very warm welcome, and when our hostess found out we were on our honeymoon she arranged for some tea and biscuits and stories about the farm. She gave us some advice about restaurants and live music. Very quiet at night, and in the morning you wake up to the sound of mooing cows. You... More

We wanted to stay on a working farm to experience the life on the farm and we chose Glenraha Farm through internet. We were very welcomed by Mr and Mrs Fitzpatrick and greatly hosted during our stay. Mr Fitzpatrick took us to milk the cows in the morning, an amazing experience and also explained the whole process. A very good... More

We were greeted by Mr. Fitzpatrick and walked to our room which was at the end of the hallway. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was in Waterford at the time of our arrival, but gave us a great overview of places to visit along our trip. We had a huge breakfast including fresh farm eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, yogurt, cereal, coffee and tea.... More

Wonderful stay in Spring 2015. Lots of local knowledge and Miss 10 loved the cows. Such a shame she was ill and couldn't bring the cows up for milking but she loved seeing all the calf's and helping take the cows back to the paddock after milking the night before. Lovely hosts. Food and rooms great. Definitely recommended as a... More

Here you have a simple homestay, but a very spacious room with large ensuite. Do not mind being part of a family house with the noises and toys in the house and garden, just enjoy the perfect care and breakfast!

My wife and I stayed at Glenraha Farmhouse in early April 2015. We chose Glenraha due to its close proximity to Waterford and its positive reviews. The Fitzpatrick family exemplified the Irish hospitality that you hear so much about. We were provided with a very hearty traditional Irish breakfast. This B&B is a true working farm that offers a unique... More

We stayed overnight during our self-drive tour of Ireland. We enjoyed our stay and were made to feel welcome by the Fitzpatricks. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast simple but adequate. The farmhouse is in Mullinavat about 15 Kilometres from Waterford. It's easy to find with signs off the main road.
