Aldridge is a comfortable, family friendly guest house. The service food and accomadition were nothing short of excellent. It was our second visit and we will certainly be returning. At 80 eur per head for adults including dinner it is also excellent value for money.

We stayed here for three nights. I won't lie, (as I realise so many liars say) it was the reviews for the restaurant that attracted us. But aside from the excellent evening meals the B&B works very well. Joanne, who runs things with Billy, who wins awards for his cooking, is a very warm hostess and adds to the family... More

Stayed 3 nights here in July, occupying 2 of the 3 rooms in the guesthouse, set just up the road from the quiet coastal town of Duncannon with it's lovely sandy beach. Aldridge Lodge is above all, a restaurant with rooms attached, but the quality of accommodation is good. Rooms, whilst not cavernous, are well appointed, clean and very comfortable.... More

My wife Nicola had been recommended to visit Aldridge Lodge. We stayed there on a Sunday evening and while they have just three bedrooms the restaurant was fully booked. Our meal consisted of six courses and each one was truly amazing. We started with a small tea cup of tomato soup with gin and thereafter we were brought to our... More

I stayed one night post Pemboke-Rosslare ferry and pre driving to deepest West Cork. We have been looking for somewhere with good food and room within 45 minutes of Rosslare for years. And, after probaby thirty plus years in the desert, this is it. This will be the first of many stops. Food is just superb. Service ditto. Astonishingly the... More

Just love this restaurant/guest house. We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary in Aldridge lodge, treating ourselves to dinner and an overnight stay and I can honestly say breakfast was as good as dinner the night before. The owners are so welcoming and make you feel wonderfully relaxed. You won't be disappointed!

This small well regarded guesthouse is definitely a place you must visit! With its numerous awards and accolades this place is no secret! The exceptional food and wonderful experience come at a price that gives you exceptional value! Myself, my girlfriend and another couple stayed here in May for one night! From our initial welcome by Joanne I have nothing... More

Aldridge Lodge has been open for 9 years I understand. It has taken me until now to experience it. Unfortunately, I only visit Wexford once or twice a year. Several times before I was too late to book a table. Now after my first visit I cannot wait until the next time. You just have to experience the place, the... More

Last place to stay in Ireland, and did we save the best restaurant for last ? If to believe the many articles and reviews, it would seem so.. We arrived somewhere in the afternoon and got welcomed by the chef/owner Billy himself, what a friendly guy, he showed us to our room, which was ok but nothing fancy. Main reason... More
