First impressions parking is plenty and adjacent to the hotel. Main entrance was a bit dark but receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Had a cappuccino in the restaurant whilst waiting, served in the standard white cup and saucer. The decor is 'homely' and the staff were on top of keeping all tables cleared and everyone served. A central location...

Stayed here over Easter break. This is a hotel that time forgot in my opinion. I can only assume that the last time it got a proper clean/paint was 10 years ago. Stains on carpets & walls, a musty smell in all quarters of the property, a small portable tv from the late 90's that failed to function some of...

Enjoyed my time at the Grand Hotel Wicklow. Good service, decent mealtimes and plenty of parking. The swimming pool was absent but I didn't really need it because the ocean was grand. Room service lacking somewhat.

The Grand Hotel is exactly what Americans think of Europe. It's old and the rooms are small and dank with 80s decor. It's clean (enough) and for 70 Euros a night, including breakfast, one can't complain.

Needed some breakfast while touring the coast in the car. This was the only place open on an early Sunday morning, so we went in. Odd set up with hot versus cold buffet style breakfast, but then you order eggs / toast separate. Very quaint room and good service. Front desk was helpful with information.

We went in for bar food on Thursday evening. What a disappointment for our Son's 21st. Bar was nearly empty, 3 staff chatting behind the bar - yet tables were DIRTY. Found a clean table and sat down. No one came over to offer menus had to go to the bar and ask for menus, but even then had to...

A very welcoming hotel. staff were very friendly and helpful. accommodation was comfortable, clean and well maintained. Dined in the restaurant on the first night, everything was perfect, great food and the staff made the experience even better. Located in the centre of Wicklow town, so close to seafront and shopping. Very Good
