We stumbled across this on Late Rooms primarily somewhere for its location for our onward journey. It was a real surprise and probably wish we could have stayed longer. In essence it is 10 minutes from Harrogate and on the doorstep to the Yorkshire Dales and some special outstanding scenery. It has a large car park Nd once you go...

Stayed here for two nights whilst visiting friends nearby. Not great kerb appeal when you pull in yo the car park but a lovely warm welcome. Our room (6) had a very comfy bed, good shower and was very clean apart from a few cobwebs. It's a bit dated in decor /furnishings but pleasant enough for a couple of nights....

Despite varied reviews the food was excellent. I had the asparagus with crispy egg and roast hazelnuts to start. Fish was fresh, chips homemade. Very good pub grub. Staff helpful. Locals friendly. Dogs welcome. All good. A little difficult to find but we were made vet welcome.

A very welcoming place to stay with cosy rooms and comfy beds. Right in the heart of the country it makes for the perfect place to explore away from big cities but close enough to pop to Harrogate. They also serve hearty and tasty meals in the evenings. Extremely friendly staff and would definitely recommend

Room clean; ensuite. No double glazing so you can hear the traffic. Nice fireplace in the lounge but no open fire and it was a bit cold. Food was good. Friendly hosts. At £85 per night, we thought it was a little expensive compared to similar hotels.

We stayed here for one night. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 5 which is a small double en suite room which was ideal for just the two of us, it was lovely and clean as was the whole place. Our evening meal and the breakfast was very nice too.

We stayed here for 1 night when we attended the Harrogate Foodies festival. We arrived earlier that the specified check in time, but the owner was happy to go ahead and get us checked in and give us our room key. When we returned from the festival, we had a couple of drinks in the bar. Both the staff and...
