Found out that this place has been taken over by a group however they are pledging to leave it unchanged. This property oozes charm and serves very good food and great music so it doesn't need to change.

My husband, daughter and I stayed at the 3 bedroom apartment which was set just behind the hotel. It was stunning! Scrupulously clean, well equipped and great design. We ate each night at the restaurant - great quality food and such lovely surroundings. Whoever designed this place was amazingly talented! There was subtle live music that was excellent and created...

The staff were very friendly & attentive too. Music was provided by the Frank Brooker Jazz Trio & was thoroughly enjoyable as the trio did their utmost to please their audience...

The food was good, the service was good - overall it was good. Having eaten here on a precious occasion I came away with the same impression that something was lacking that I can't put my finger on. Weird because the decor looks intimate and cosy but I just didn't feel it. Won't be rushing back.

The food was nicely presented but lacked seasoning in parts and one guest commented their steak was barely warm. Nice evening but menu could do with a...

The staff are always welcoming, the wine list reasonably priced the food excellent value. If you want a premier chain hotel don't bother but if you like a small premier...
