My wife and I booked Shelbourne House to stay when we visited the Christmas markets in Harrogate. We travelled by train and it was a fairly short walk to Shelbourne House which is very centrally located. We arrived just after 12 noon hoping to drop our luggage then go for lunch but we were fortunate our room was ready so...

This is a very pleasant B&B. The owner is very nice and quickly replied to email queries when we were on our way. Welcomed in by an older chap who we think was her father in law, but very kind and helpful. Well located for the town and a short distance to many eateries. Harrogate is a lovely town and...

My Wife and I visited Harrogate for the Ladies Barbershop Convention. We stayed at Shelbourne House Hotel, for the four nights. We can say this is the best place we have stayed in for some years, The room was nicely decorated and spaceous. The breakfast menu was extensive and orders taken and the food cooked fresh. It was our sixth time visiting Harrogate and we had always opted to stay in Hotels during our trips, but that is a thing of the past after our extremely pleasant stay at Sherbourne guest house as I would highly recommend it...

Was a bit of a trek to the room which was at the top of the house but landlady carried my suitcase in spite of my protestations! Well worth the climb though, huge bed and modern en suite. Breakfast was good with local produce and a selection of choices. We had one small issue with the hot water running out...

When we arrived Sue the owner met us with one of the nicest welcome we have ever had. Our room was spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. It had a comfortable king sized...

Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean and full of character. Very tastefully decorated. Went for our 45 th wedding anniversary and a concert at the Royal Hall. The breakfast was also excellent. We were made to feel very welcome. Really enjoyed it. Would definitely go again.

What a lovely little hotel. We stayed here for one night whilst we explored Harrogate and York. The hotel is stylishly decorated - quaint, quirky and clean. Our room was well equipped and the hotel was quiet. It is perfect for exploring Harrogate as it is very close to all the sights, restaurants and shops. The breakfast was delicious -...
