Booked this at the last minute. Judy and Richard were wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough for us. Their house is gorgeous, built in the 1800's and retains all of its period features but all the facilities are very 21st century and quite luxuriousBreakfast was excellent. Parking outside in the street was no problem whatsoever so don't be put off...

Victorian town house, well decorated and appointed. Slept like logs. Ideal for walking in to town and to nearby restaurants. Richard and Judy(no not them!) made us very welcome and gave good advice on where to go and how to get there. Eg. "Go to Knaresborough by bus. Only costs £2:50 "

What a great stay from the warmest possible welcome, to a very friendly goodbye. The room was smallish, but ideal for my needs, with a very comfortable bed and ample tea and coffee making facilities available. My room was ensuite and covered all my requirements. The absolute highlight, however, has to be the full English breakfast. It is huge, sets...

There was tea, coffee, milk and biscuits in the room. Really quiet even though it was very close to the town centre. Breakfast the following morning was freshly cooked and really nice. There was a...

My mum and I stayed at the Welford while we visited the Harrogate Christmas market. It was a short walk to the bus and train station, main shops and the market itself. The room was cosy, very clean and had everything we needed including free wifi. There was also a wide choice of food for breakfast. The owner Judy was...

Perfect location, made to feel very welcome, lovely room with en suite. I was lead to believe the owner is also a butcher, hence the breakfast was first class. Absolutely flawless. Wish I'd taken a photo! A+

Can't fault in any way. The hotel was spotless, room was well equipped and has a king sized bed, very comfortable. The breakfast was superb with a wide choice for all tastes and Judy and Richard were first class hosts. Centrally placed with on street parking and 5 mins walk to the HIC.
