We stayed at the The Station Inn for 3 nights this week, touring round the Yorkshire Dales, Harrogate etc. The Coach House was very comfortable, the food in the restaurant is superb and the staff are friendly and attentive wihout being overbearing. Highly recommended for a short break or just pop in for a meal you really won't be disappointed.

Absolutely loved our stay in this old Hunting Lodge. Our room was perfect for us with a comfortable bed, modern bathroom (with a bath), and good heating. Just what we needed after a days "stroll" through the Dales and the Moors. And if that wasn't enough, the friendliest locals and bar staff you could hope to meet..... No need to... More

we stayed here to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. It was an ideal distance for our grown up children to join us from Leeds & York. The rooms are fairly small but the quality furniture and nice bathrooms make up for that. The food in the restaurant was lovely. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We especially enjoyed... More

We stopped here to break a 400 mile journey. It was the ideal place. When we arrived we received a warm and friendly welcome. The bedroom (Chablis) was beautifully decorated and had everything needed for an overnight stop; fluffy towels, quality toiletries, well-stocked hospitality tray and a comfortable bed. It was at the front of the hotel so there was... More

We were met by very friendly staff. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. There was a really good comfortable bed in our room. We had a very good break with easy access to all local attractions. The food was excellent. The hotel held a quiz night and we were made to feel very welcome by the local people, who welcomed us to... More

We were visiting Harrogate and our one night stay was excellent in every way. Clean and comfortable Staff helpful and friendly We will be visiting The Station again in the very near future on our next visit to Yorkshire. We would certainly recommend this Hotel .It appears very popular and only has a few rooms so book early.

We arrived at the Station Hotel, Birstwith on a very wet Saturday during our Way of the Roses Cycle ride. We weren't booked in but fortunately they had a room. To say we looked be-draggled is an understatement. Four panniers, two saddle bags, a wet tent and a cycle rear wheel with a punctured tyre. We were shown to the... More
