Stayed here in early May for a long weekend. Everything you read about the owners' eye for detail is absolutely spot on. Originally two sizeable victorian residences it is clear that a great deal of thought and cash has been invested in the conversion to one large guest house. Location is great - very central, a short walk from the...

Booked two rooms last minute for a one night stay in Harrogate. The Grafton is on a nice, quiet, leafy street and an easy walk into town so an excellent location and we were able to park on the street right outside. Both rooms were immaculately clean and beautifully presented. Bed linens good quality and though the bed was smaller...

We stayed here for four nights. The bed was very comfortable so we slept well. The room was decorated in a modern style and was very clean. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff very friendly. I would recommend the Grafton, although the room was small and we have paid less to stay in hotels (rather than B&Bs) in Harrogate.

The Grafton's managers clearly have a great eye for detail - it is beautifully kept, very stylishly decorated and was immaculate. Not a scuff mark to be seen anywhere, it looked as though it had literally just been decorated and it was a delight to stay in. Our room overlooking the front was worthy of a much more expensive hotel...

Having just spent the weekend based here would have no problem in recommending to friends looking for some where different to stay. The whole place was wonderfully decorated, clean and our room (16) was delightfully large and comfortable. The photo's on the web site did not do it justice. A stated by others the breakfast was superb with great choice....

Lovely hotel in a central position to the town centre. Very nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection of fresh fruits, cereal, crossiants and a full English cooked breakfast available. The young girl who served breakfast and also attended reception was very polite and cheerful. The only downside for me was the room allocated to us...

We stayed here for 5 nights in May 2014 as a base for some walking/exploring of north Yorkshire. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all the facilities we required, the breakfast was very tasty and definitely filled you up for the day ahead (particularly their sausages and the porridge which were delicious). The owners and staff were very friendly...

We stayed here when visiting friends who lived in Harrogate over the Easter bank holiday. With a number of places being booked we were recommended this place through mutual friends and could not have been more happy. The rooms are very clean and modern with luxury fixtures, fitting and upholstery and free wifi which had a very fast connection. We...
