We only stayed one night but were made to feel very welcome from the moment we went in. Immaculately clean rooms and outstanding breakfast - too much for me and I'm a big lad! Will definitely make a return visit when able

A warm welcome, a room providing everything you could need, well-supplied hospitality tray, all very clean and comfortable, big fluffy towels. Liz is very kind and helpful. An excellent breakfast, tasty fresh fruit , home made jam and delicious fresh-cooked full English. Can't fault anything, exceptional value for money.

A warm welcome. Beautifully clean room and one of the best breakfasts I have had at a guesthouse. A short walk from town centre in a leafy road away from the main traffic. Would very much recommend this hotel.

This guest house is exceptional. Very clean, with modern decor and good room facilities. We could not have been looked after any better by the lovely host Liz. Breakfast substantial and great quality. All in all, great value for money and would highly recommend this guest house. We will be happy to return in the future.

This was the perfect B&B! A friend and I celebrated our birthdays with a trip to the Turkish baths in Harrogate and two nights in this lovely, centrally located, quiet guest-house. The house was sparkingly clean, very well equipped (-generous tea, coffee and biscuits in the room; plus flat screen tv, fluffy towels, good bed-linen, nice toilteries, tissues etc) and...

We stayed for 3 nights. Liz was an amazing host, and her rooms are of a high standard with great tea and coffee facilities as well as a lovely powerful shower. The breakfast was amazing and such a great start to the day. And the guest house was lovely and central.

We have been staying at Liz and John's guest house whilst attending the Home and gift Show for the last 15 years! Everything is just right, the location, the room, the breakfast and very warm welcome we get when we arrive. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I stayed at the Glenayr for 4 nights while exhibiting at the Home and Gift Show. It was just perfect. Liz and her team are so friendly and helpful and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome, special and looked after. My room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Breakfasts were lovely with lots of choice...

This was our first trip to Harrogate and what a little gem this Guest House is. Clean and comfortable after a busy day at a Trade Show. So central for going into town.Breakfast you ate like a king. Nothing was too much trouble for Liz the owner. We felt we had made a friend for life after our 6 night stay.
