I don't understand why hotels think they can call something Classic which seems to mean tired and in dire need of upgrading. The staff are very nice and the hotel is very clean but our classic room had a badly stained chair, leaking tap and bed side tables with peeling paint, all of which must have been seen by housekeeping...

We recently stayed at this hotel whilst up on business for one evening, We arrived early morning and I understand that check in was later in the day however I felt the receptionist was quite cold and more interested in what she was doing on the computer as there was no offer to take our luggage etc. Later that day...

Stayed here for a night out with friends. The hotel is very nicely decorated downstairs and very modern however upstairs it doesn't look quite as nice. It doesn't seem to know whether to be traditional or modern. A lot of the decor is In keeping with the reception area etc, but then the bathrooms are quite dated and there are...

We have stayed in Harrogate for the last 20 years and this has been the nicest place we have stayed. The staff are amazing. Everything about the hotel is 5*. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Harrogate. It is central, great value for money the rooms are lovely. Loved the bottle of chilled prosecco on arrival.

Stayed one night as visiting family in Harrogate. Nice room with a lovely rose shower , very good for me as I'm over six foot . Got 25% off first round in the bar that's attached so that was a nice surprise. Portions at breakfast for the cooked option were a bit miserly but good quality. All in all nice...

Great location for specialist shops and good restaurants. Very comfortable and well appointed rooms but quite small .Fat Badger is a great bar for drinks and food. Restaurant is moderate and has a bit of overspill noise from the Bar. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Still find s=trange that residents have to pay £10 per day for car park. Will certaily...

This hotel complements the beauty and charisma of North Yorkshire. Cannot wait for a return when I propose to invite my sister and her husband to savour the delights of Harrogate. So much to see and do close to other places of interest even by public transport. Don't agree that Tripadvisors assessment of Fish and Chips in Knaresborough is "the...
