    Decent rooms, good location, great breakfast and excellent staff! Special mention to the young bar tender Jake. Let us in on a few of his secrets and recommendations in Derby. Would highly recommend staying here if your stopping over in Derby.

    lovely breakfasts and food, homemade pizzas. very friendly staff bathroom a bit tired and bed hard. easy to find close to A38 and very good location for nearby Derby and various National Trust properties

    Booked to stay having stayed a few years ago. We booked the disabled room as my wife is now confined to a wheelchair. The only part that could be actuate is that it is Wheelchair accessable. Bed too low could not get off the bed...More

    It hasn't, The Lodge is owned by John Crooks of JC Hotels. He has owned The Lodge for 16 years however, this summer has seen a dramatic refurbishment along with the installation of an authentic Italian pizza oven
