We had booked a table of 10 for Mother's Day tea, including a £50 deposit. Unfortunately one of our family, who was gluten free, was poorly. We subsequently phoned with 3 hours in advance and let them know. 9 of us turned up to the booking and had a reasonably pleasant meal. Unfortunately at the end, they not only wanted...

Arrived for our afternoon tea which was a gift. Seated straight away and served coffee and tea swiftly. We waited quite a while for our tea stand to arrive, others who came in after us got served before us. The sandwhiches were lovely and fresh, the chocolate pot was nice The small bakewell tart lacked flavour and the scones were...

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights before a big move abroad and the staff treated everyone as an extension of their family. If you want a modern clinical hotel then this is not the hotel for you, if you want a traditional English hotel it is perfect. Internet is very good, all food is...

I have no idea how this hotel has certificates of excellence. It looks lovely from outside but my room was in desperate need of some tlc. It's so dated and there were bits of paint chipped off the wall, it basically needed a good overhaul. Maybe there are nicer rooms but mine wasn't one of them. My mattress was so...

A bit disappointing really. I took my mum here for afternoon tea as part of a birthday treat, venue is nice, however extra touches were lacking. For example a cloth serviette would have added a tad of luxury, as opposed to a paper one, also a dusty artificial flower in a vase on the table wasn't most appealing. Selection of...

I was looking forward to staying in this hotel based on previous reviews. I was training the previous weekend in Telford and stayed in the premier Inn. Which as always is consistent with quality and you know what you are are getting. The following weekend I choose Hadley Park House hotel and was expecting some improvement over and above premier...

Needed to stay at a nearby hotel to the Telford hospital to visit our brother. I mentioned over the telephone that my husband had recently had a hip replacement and was still on crutches and we were so pleased when we saw we had been placed in Accessibility Room 18. It is in the new block and was absolutely perfect...

Took mum here for a birthday treat- hubby tagged along too. I have to say it was really nice. I chose this place as there were more savoury items as well as the sandwiches and traditional scones etc. Personally I prefer savoury to sweet so the added sausage rolls and hot cheese tartlet were a plus for me. There was...

We were given a room in the old part of hotel. It was on the top floor. The room was not what we would have expected at this price. Only 1 bedside table and lamp which meant only one could read in bed. The worst part was the bed. The floor sloped in such a way that our feet were...

My husband treated us both to the valentines supper. We were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and felt very relaxed and pampered. We cant praise the chef and restaurant staff enough. Delicious food, lovely relaxed atmosphere, live guitar playing in the background, excellent service - bliss! Will definitely be back again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We may be located on the edge of Telford, but from the moment you turn into our driveway, you’ll notice that Hadley Park House Hotel & Restaurant has a distinct rural feel. The main manor house dates back to the 18th century and is still full of character. It provides a perfect location for weddings and celebrations; it’s a conducive environment for business stays and conferences and is ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing leisure break. When you’re away it’s important to get a good night’s sleep. So, we’ve invested in our 22 bedrooms to make them as relaxing and homely as possible. There are even a few small touches to add that little bit of luxury to your stay. As you’d expect, all of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and there’s the obligatory TV and tea and coffee making facilities! WIFI is also available in the rooms in case you need to link to the ‘world wide web’ whilst away. After a good nights rest, we’ll make sure that you’re set up for the next day thanks to a hearty, freshly cooked Shropshire breakfast. Dorrells Restaurant is our award winning conservatory restaurant which consistently achieves an AA Rosette for food quality. Our kitchen brigade produces exceptional quality food predominantly using locally sourced produce. Pork is sourced from Wenlock Edge Farm, our beef is reared in Staffordshire, we have Staffordshire cheese on the cheeseboard … and the list goes on. ... more   less
