We have recently been dealing with this hotel as a base for our wedding. They have been absolutely fantastic, we get married in June. The communication has been accurate and speedy. Big thanks to Nikki! One of the least stressful things in our wedding planning journey.

Visited on a Saturday for a one night stay for the football. To start, excellent parking facilities and staff on site were pleasant and welcoming. Check in was quick and easy and I was allocated a room on the 2nd floor. Room itself was a bit tired and unfortunately not very sound proof as I could hear the room next door very clearly and the teenagers who decided to play 'lets run around the corridors' all night. The bar itself was very pleasant and I guess reasonably priced for a hotel. Really nice atmosphere and made to feel welcome so apart from the noise it was actually a positive experience and I will return again, if my team play Bolton in the near future.

Yet another years stay for the Provincial Ball, lovely room, plenty of room to stretch out, The only down side was at breakfast, no cups, they had "run out" of tomatoes and big queues waiting for food to be served. we weill still be returning next year for the annual function.

Thank you for sharing with us your feed back. I will forward this to our food and beverage department, with the high house count at the weekend and high volume of guest taking breakfast, unfortunately this can create queues and waiting due to the chef preparing the food fresh from the kitchen through out the morning. We do appreciate you taking the time to write this and can only apologise if this effected your experience with us. We look forward to welcoming you back with us next year. Kind Regards Alison Lumsden Front of house Manager

We booked a penthouse! DONT if you have children, the accommodation for children is a sofa bed which is so old the springs are showing through which make it impossible to sleep on - I wouldn’t let my dog sleep on there it’s so bad !! Great staff who agreed and moved us to another room - WHICH WAS IDENTICAL!! We had to move to a standard room which was slightly better as it actually had a proper single bed so at least we could get some sleep . It was a very bad experience so don’t recommend bring your family here , We did get a refund and cannot complain about the staff it’s just the hotel needs a big upgrade, Photos are from our final room - the window didn’t even close !!!

The staff and team at Bolton stadium hotel was very polite, and friends and very welcoming. They made our stay very nice and felt comfortable!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. By far one of my best stays and would be in my top 5. This wasn’t my first time staying and it won’t be the last. I’ve never had to say a bad word about the staff and stay it self.

We have stayed here previously, the rooms are spacious and the food is good. I called in yesterday to book rooms for my wedding as we are getting married nearby. It was a match day so there was no one to help me, however they took my details and a lovely gentleman called Ben rung me an hour later and couldn’t do enough, he gave me a great rate and was super helpful!! I’ll be calling him again today to add more rooms on!

Right honest review here ,stayed last Saturday night -Hotel frontage and reception area is lovely. Bar area nice but needs updated . Staff are super , very helpful ,Food pub grub nice. The penthouse , needs a total refurbishment, if you like the 80s this is a room for you , family stayed in the Pitch view room - Needs a upgrade as well , but large spacious and fab view , all and all an average experience has the potential but needs some money spent to get it up to a 4 star hotel in the 2020s - also skip the £14.50 per head breakfast poor .. pros , clean/ spacious/ super staff . Cons , rooms need total Refurbished / sort breakfast/ could have got nicer Hotels at a better price ,

From the moment we arrived to when we left, all the staff were superb, friendly and very professional. They couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were immaculate, had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and gave us a great night's sleep. We didn't have breakfast their but we did use the bar the night before, which is reasonably priced and staffed very well. The bar staff were helpful, friendly and very chatty. Thanks for a great stay, see you again soon.
