A tough call, trying to run this pretty but fairly remote place a couple of miles from the well-pubbed town of Stony Stratford. The day we called the chef didn't bother to - so no food for the punters. And we were the only two....More

The beer was well kept and the food was good pub grub. The accommodation was basic but given time and vision could be good. In a pretty and quiet village very close to Milton Keynes. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent.
